Re: Install/Reinstall procedure
Hi,
Installing from my old GOTY cd v1.33. Windows 10 64-bit OS. I am not able to apply the full 1.4 patch. It errors out and tells me to use 1.4lite. That also errors out. It seems I can't get patched from my fresh install version 1.33 to 1.4 or higher. Any recommendations or ideas as to how I can get this patched so i can play again?
Thanks in advance.

Just download the game from here:
http://homie1337.bestmail.ws/rtcw/misc/RtCW14pack.exe
and use your own cdkey if needed.

I'm trying to run the single player but I get this error when loading
MAX_SHADER_STRING_POINTERS exceeded, too many shaders

seta r_mode "-1"
seta r_fullscreen "1"
seta r_customwidth "2560"
seta r_customheight "1440"
Probably should also check the high DPI settings by right clicking the icon->Properties->Compatibility tab
