shrubmod 3.2b

Postby [[[MAD.etwas]]] » Mon Jan 12, 2015 8:40 pm

this goes to donny. i already emailed you with a request for sending me a link or mail me the latest shrubmod files (3.2b).
our [[[mad]]] server is running with limited lives too, but with the latest official shrubmod (3.1.1b) latejoiners still get the maximum of lives, no matter what time in the round they join. this is frustrating.
also it has some other nice features, that i really would like to use on our server.
so, please release it :)

I didn't get an e-mail, but I only have a Linux build if you can use that...

I don't think my ecgnetwork.com e-mail address is working anymore, so PM me your e-mail address and I'll send it.

maybe someone can help me with the shrubbot. this is a great feature and improvement for shrub, specially for admins. thanks again donny, for sending me the files and helping!
i would like to know how i can add more commands to the shrubbot.cfg?
for example, commands like !seen, !stats, !commands etc.
from the noquarter wiki, adding custom commands to the shrubbot.cfg would look like this:

[command]
command = maxpanzers
exec = team_maxPanzers [1]
desc = Sets maximum panzers per team
levels = 4 5

i tried that with various commands, but it didnt work, so i still have to use rcon to change different stuff.
any ideas anyone?

You can't add shrubbot commands. The commands are compiled into the mod.

You would have to use an external script / plugin to do something like that.

(There is already a cvar in shrubmod to limit panzers btw)

hmm, ok. i guess writing a script for that is to complicated for me :/
yea, i know with the panzers, was just an example of the command line structure.
