Hi Readers!

I have re-installed the game after so many years of not playing the game, i go to join the ECG network beach server and i get banned instantly. is there a reason for this?

i hate playing in the other servers available due to the bots!

i prefer competition against human players

After some reading i can now join the server. by verifying my CD key. however, i have a small problem with my punkbuster. it says it is not up to date i think.

after joining the server i give it a minute or two and it disconnects me saying please go to evenbalance.com

i have downloaded the PB update from evenbalamce.com, but it does not have rtcw on the drop down menu for updating PB.

any suggestions?

There's another thread here for using PB update manually - I'm sure someone will chime in soon with the link for you. Welcome back and see you on the battlefields!

LoL; nah I just know that if you download the game from steam it gives you an older version of PB that doesn't work anymore. Or in my case when I reinstalled rtcw 1.4 in 2013 with the disc it told me that punkbuster server was unable to update so I had to get the pb folder directly from someone who already had the correct version.
