Not quite sure I understand your question one. Not quite sure I know what you mean by play...
If you have TS up and running, all you need to do is connect to the OC48 TS server 205.177.13.42:8767 From there you select whichever room you plan on hanging out in. Stick to either General Chat or either of the OC48 BF channels. If someone says you are broadcasting static, exit TS and restart it, that will fix the problem.

well do i need to run the TS main page and go to quick connect and type the ip and the name to get on? i think i have done that i see alot of green lights, then how do i play from there? thanks doom you have helped me out alot
TS and BF1942 are not related in any way. Once you're connected to the TS server and you have selected a channel, you can chat with other people, that,s all.
If you want to play BF, you have to start the BF1942 or Road to Rome game, the go to multiplayer, then click on "Internet", then "Ipdate".
Wait 'til the conter stops going up, then you have the list of all the visible servers on Internet.
You can sort the list by name, or number of players, or ping, etc. Experiment a little.
Then select the OC48gaming BF1942 #1 or #2 server (I suggest #2) and then click on "Join".
