Any way I can get unbanned from a server?

I was playing on the BF1942 server ECGNetwork.com #1 server when I got kicked off and banned. Now, I'm not sure why exactly, but the last thing I was doing was emptying a clip from my gun onto the deck of the carrier(it was the coral sea map). I assume someone thought I was shooting our own planes or trying to TK someone, but I was just shooting at nothing out of frustration, I couldn't seem to press "e" fast enought to get a plane before anyone else did. Probably not the best thing to do, in retrospect.

At any rate, I really enjoy playing on large servers like that, and was wondering if I could get another chance. I am (usually) a rather decent team player. I hope this is the right forum, the BF1942 one was locked to me.
