My dentist is a jerk!

Gahh.. talk about pain! Yesterday I go in for a filling and he's shooting me up with the novicaine - and he HITS A NERVE IN MY JAW. It feels like someone took a skewer, heated it up until it was red, jammed it in through my jaw, up through my cheek, through my sinus and into my eye.

He says "Wow, that's rare, you have a very eccentric nerve."

So then he goes to give me a 2nd injection and HITS THE NERVE AGAIN.

This time it's worse because the first time I was surprised and didn't know what was going on, but this time I did and I was able to pay attention to the pain more.

My jaw and sinus are still killing me.

That is why my dentist is a jerk.

LOL, Thats why I stopped seeing my dentist unless I REALLY need to. I keep my teeth sparkling anyways.

My dentist doesn't believe in anasthetic, he says it just hurts more, so he tends to work on the element of surprise, like you aren't gonna notice when he pulls your tooth out!

Yeah, I pay through the nose for my insurance so I've got $5,000 annual allowance for any restorative procedures, as well as another $5,000 for any preventative procedures with a $50 deductible - not too shabby, but costs me $14/week.

And a totally off-topic whine, some idiot wore a BELL to work today, so whenever she walks around all I can here is "jingle-jingle-jingle" and it's REALLY annoying.

My dentist is really attractive. She and her sister have a joint practice and both are nice people and attractive too. Everyone should go to female dentists.

I havn't been to a dentist since the last one, during the extraction of a wisdom tooth, planted his size 12 boot on my jaw to facilitate yanking. "Wow, you've got some healthy strong roots there. Quite a work out Ha ha haa ha haa ha."

I should mention I neutralize anesthetic in record time so most of the 50 minute excursion was conducted in a euphoria of terrorizing pain.
