Kicked on Guadal Canal?

Postby RCglider » Mon Dec 22, 2003 12:08 pm

On Axis I took plane from carrier, capped flag at airfield, waited for reinforcements, then took plane from hangar and began attacking enemy destroyer. SOP. Next thing I knew I was kicked. I asked my team on TS if they knew why I was kicked, but nobody saw anything. I didn't get on Allied channel to ask.
I'm wondering because I've never been kicked for high ping or ISP problems since I switched to new service.

Rc, the server log goes back to here "12/21/2003 02:22:53"
it does not show that an admin or the bot kicked you.
i suspect connection problems.

Did it say "kicked" or "disconnected? Judging from the log, there seemed to be some problems around 11 this morning. BTW, since patch 1.5 there is no more log entried in the server log when the bot kicks, so that could be the problem.

It was probably when everyone got kicked. The server came down to remove a corrupted map file, OMAHA, which is why it crashes everytime it's on. MMmmgood stated he will reload BF and the maps after the holiday to correct this. For now the map has been removed.

It was a kick, not a server crash. Nobody saw or heard anything, and everyone else was playing fine. No big deal, I just wanted to see what it was, mainly if it was for high ping because my current ISP has been very stabile.
