Ok I dont know if I have been banned on accident or what Yadad looked at the ban list but said he did not see me on there. Yet strangely for some reason I can not conntect to the server. So i did a bunch of update tweaks to the PunkBuster but still no darn help in getting in. Im sure either ill be told what i did for a ban if i was banned or the snafu will be fixed.
Thanks Sen

I'd be surprised if you'd been banned.
I'm pretty sure it's a PB problem, have you tried contacting their support?

Edit: What is the contents of your file mods/bf1942/settings/PBclient.con?

htm folder with following....la001320.htm lc001056.htm ls001056.htm ma001320.htm mc001056.htm ms001056.htm wa001320.htm wc001056.htm ws001056.htm

empty screenshot folder

these are in the main pb folder also
EULA.txt pbag.dll pbags.dll pbcl.db pbcl.dll pbcls.dll pbsv.dll pbsvmaps.cfg

I hope PB doesn't have issues with a cluttered "mods" folder. I've got several DC only folders that I currently need in there for dc .7 testing. Vanilla bf1942 doesn't reference these whatsoever so I would think it would be ok to not worry about this. Cutting and pasting these out of the mods folder each time I want to play bf1942 would be bad on the hard drive (fragments) since they are fairly large in mb.

Senwolf another possible issue might be that certain mods install unnecessary folders in your battlefield 1942 directory and this conflicts with PB. (even DC could be guilty of this) I wonder if this might have been your problem. I've read the FAQ on PB for bf1942 and couldn't find info related to this so who knows.

Glad to hear you got it working though. I hope you remembered to backup your profiles. ;)

no i did not save my stuff. because i wanted to be sure that it was not me and my punkbuster stuff. but that is ok as now i know i have a completley clean install and everything actually runs right on my end.

and hats off again to MMmmmmGOOD and Chacal for finding my IP on the list even though someone else said they looked. We wont mention any names now will we ...... cough cough Yadad. JJ he obviously just missed me in the list of so many.

Thanks to everyone that helped or tried to help solve the issue.
