Making a key that saves screenshots consecutively?

Postby Heart Collector » Sat May 15, 2004 11:22 pm

There a way to do this?

Or does /bind x "screenshotjpg" already do this?

I mean so you can take multiple screenshots in one game, and will save as "screenshot1.jpg", "screenshot2.jpg" ect.

Would be very usefull.

I guess I could have just logged on and tried it, but just in case the regular bind doesnt do it.......indulge me

as for me Heart, WOLF saves 'em consectively for 1 game only. If I dont move the screenshots to another folder, it will overwrite them.

If this even helps or is what you are asking......I think so.

Record a demo and type /cl_avidemo 30 where 30 is the number of fps u want have in jpeg. For example, if u record a demo of 3 seconds, and use cl_avidemo 10 you´ll have 30 jpeg x-spaced in time. That command is used to pass demos to avi (as my signature).

Cool......this is what I'm after I think...

Not trying to make a demo, or a movie.

Just want to be able to take a screenshot, and if something else happens in game where I want to take another, I don't want the first one overwritten, ect.
