Seriously Snafu

Postby SavageParrot » Sat May 29, 2004 6:45 pm

I am having serious wolf problems on ecgn and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Every time I load up 24/7 beach it chokes a little as it transfers from the loading up picture to the live action and I lose all my custom binds s_stop, giveammo etc. also the colour of my name is almost entirely random and bears no relation to what I have in multiplayer setup. The problem only seems to happen on this server as I can go to other servers and reimplement my binds and carry them on to other servers except yours. Is this something to do with punkbuster or something else? What can I do to fix the problem? Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Sorry for the barrage of questions but this one really has me confused.

I suggest doing this....
Go to Program Files/Return to Castle Wolfenstein/Main/wolfconfig_mp.cfg

Open this file in wordpad and edit all your settings here and put all your binds in there that you want. Now save over the old one with the one you fixed and then copy it. Now go to every folder in your Retrun to Castle Wolfenstein folder and look for any config files and delete them. Then paste a copy of the fixed config file there. You should put in these folders for sure...
ProgramFiles/RTCW/
ProgramFiles/RTCW/Main
ProgramFiles/RTCW/OSP
ProgramFiles/RTCW/Shrubmod
ProgramFiles/RTCW/banimod
ProgramFiles/RTCW/shrub
ProgramFiles/RTCW/shrubmod_3[1].1.1b
ProgramFiles/RTCW/backup

Return to Return To Castle Wolfenstein
