switching to weapons from primed nades

just wondering if there is a way to do this. Like when you pull the trigger on the panzerfaust then realize you'll either blow up teamates or nothing at all so you quickly switch weapons. I swear i've seen people do it, but i may be wrong .

I dont know bout that but is there a way to speed up the switchign weeapons speed cause i t takes too long to reload by the time ive realoaded ive been killed...

Any tips?

destruktor, if you fire a panz and you want to cancel the shot just switch to another weapon before it fires (i use the numbers, it depends on your config) or you can just drop the gun itself and then pick it up (but you'll have the colt out most likely) (again, i use mouse 2, it depends on what you use, probably p)

mojo, same applies to you, if you dont want to waste time reloading a gun, just drop it quick

I just have the drop command as mouse 3. If I fire and want to pull back i drop the weapon.

what would the command be to:

bind my scroll button to drop weapon

bind my c key to switch to nade

right now my p is drop weapon and nade is 4

i know about the panzer shot thing. I'd just like to know if you can switch from a primed nade to your weapon. It would help out in certain situations, and i swear i've seen people do it.

my guess would be too just keep holding your mouse button and tap the number 3 key a few times..lol..if it works you might waste sum ammo and bleed a few mates..but better than a full blown TK.

here's my advice of the day, never reload in a fight, reload be-4. Shot, or kill, then run away and reload....repeat...simple

I assume you mean mouse scroll? type into console.

/bind MWHEELDOWN +dropweapon
or
/bind MWHEELUP +dropweapon

For nades

/bind c weaponbank 4

Alternatively you can just go to menu/controls (while playing or speccing) and change the exsisting keys to the new ones you want.

Or, you can simply go into the menu and change your key config. there. Mouse 3 is using the mouse scroll wheel by pressing it in, not rotating it.

yep, if you want the button

/bind MOUSE3 +dropweapon

or do it in the game menu or the config

No its not. Just have it ready and prime when you spot someone. Believe me I know the importance of when and how not to use a nade.
