Hiya folks.

Those that know me know that I am not a whiner or complainer....and I've been a regular here for years.

This morning (wed) at approx 9:35a edt some jerk was public chatting under my name during a game. There did not seem to be an admin handy, so I left, but this is truly nonsense crap. Please review the logs & deal with this nitwit when you can. Thanks.

I forget most of the details but there is a glitch where if you are specing someone and type something in chat, it appears as being sent from the person you're specing.

Thanks for looking it up for me, guys.....never heard of that spec-ghost thing, though. These were canned, built-in vsays, which a spec shouldn't be able to do anyway. I appreciate your help.

yeah, if it was only vsays then it may have been ghosting...you can vsay from spec by doing the console command as opposed to the "v" controls

After some research, I found many refs to the spec/ghost thing....sorry I got bent outta shape. Lesson: you can still be nooby after years & years. ;>

Everyone, I'm sorry Stiiv is causing trouble with his complaining. Stiiv and I go way, way back, and I all I can say is that he's always been this way. A terrible shame. Really.

Just let me perma-ban him and that will be that.
