Soooo...I can't connect to ECGN anymore

Any ideas?

I have punkbuster enabled (never touched it) - I can join other servers...nothing in my cable setup has changed...it's just that when I want me some beach on ECGN...it'll load until I'm almost at the 'choose your side screen'...the screen with the loading progress bar with the two allies...the loading progress bar will be like 97% and then it'll just go to the main menu and a pop up box will come up saying, "Server disconnected for unknown reason"...over and over again. Like I said, I can join any other game/server np but no ecgn.

Any ideas?

edit: nm...restarted the computer and it now says, "your ip or subnet has been banned from this server by punkbuster admin"...

...but I'm not banned on "punksbusted"...my name or my i.p. and my guid doesn't have a v, s or l in it.

Post you guid so we can see if it was actually you who was banned or if you are just unlucky enough to live next door to a hacker.

I think it's /pb_myguid. the last 8 digits of the long number is what we are after.

post it on this m.b.?...in this thread or put in a pm to an admin here?

either, it doesn't matter. We are talking about your guid not your cd key. Don't for gods sake post your cd key..

can you do something about it? or how do I find out (a website?)

i'm not too computer savvy so i'm kinda cautions throwing out this guid (whatever it is) out there.

open wolf and type in the console /pb_myguid.

Post the last 8 digits of the second number that it shows you.

I am an admin. I can't remove it but I can hopefully tell you what it's for. If you don't want to post your guid send it to me in a pm.

I can't see your name on the ban list so I need that guid to see if you are there under another name...

Yeah as far as I can see that guid is not banned. You need to get in touch with MAN-AT-ARMS.

try reinstalling wolf, save your cfg to the desktop and reload it once the reinstall is complete.
never know, with windows, reinstalls and restarts do alot

I've had this happen to me, recently actually. Restarting windows fixed it. Eliminate the simple stuff.
