Movie makin , need helpz

i use vegas 6 for editing my dv movies from my camcorder, im not a expert but i might be able to help. im at work at the moment wont be home til 7am! let me know what the problem is and i will see if i can help!

the problem is that i got a clip from a demo that is 3 min long and i want it in the movie. the guy who is makin the movie (brooby) says the clip is to long for him so the size of it will be to big. So i need somone that can make the clip that is 3 min, small size and speed up betwen the kill with good qulity
I can send the helper the movie cfg so it looks good.

also another, everyone has faster.. bigger computers now days so a large file size wont be too bad as long as the quality pays off and I can help you with that.

it can be done but like lao said it wont make that much difference in file size. the only reason to do it i would say is if you were trying to fit it to music.

I tought like , do the 3 min clip to 40 - 60 sec

i would say less than that for a 60second clip! but then it all depends on quality settings!

What system do you guys use to record because when i use my fraps it lowers the fps to about 25 and can't shoot very well lol

fraps sucks balls when playing a game! like lao said use it to record demos if you must! personally i only use fraps to record in-game audio and then resync it with avidemo video!

yeah the audio part probably helps alot but there has to be a better program, if anyone doesnt know, stiiv told me there is a program called taksi (sorry forget how to spell). but it does the exact same thing as fraps but the sound (working on it in future version) and has excellent quality, just tell it how many fps... and works from your cfg. Although it also, if you lag in game, it lags too, its works live so a bit slow at times.
