rtcw crashing

Just today, randomly my wolf started crashing... i updated pb, and got the wolf update..

i tried fixing it for hours, but when i either load a config or select a team to join from the limbo menu it crashes n says wolf needs to close n yadda yadda.. yet when i have no config in the main folder or shrub folder, i can play fine but then again its too dark, so i vid restart to change the settings and it crashes:censor::mad::rant:

lol i dunno just really pissed figured id see if anyone could help me..

what if you started with a vanilla config and then made changes one by one to the config and start up the game after each change? then you could pin point a problem in the config if there is one.

after that maybe try a video driver update, or roll it back then update it again. reboot.

Mine crashes occasionally too, either during a map change or during startup.

I think it's related to the Punkbuster Service that is required now with the newer Punkbuster updates. At least that's when I started noticing it happening.

ok.. got wolf working again. but i try to connect to the ecgn server and it just says server disconnected for unknown reason.?
