not related to wolf..

I just got back from Allegheny, and my brother used my computer while i was gone. Now there are Trojans and spyware n shit but i ran adaware and that didnt seem to do anything.. so if anyone knows any programs or solutions.. let me know please :) i would greatly appreciate it..

^Usually the only solution.

I recently tried to straighten out a friend's hijacked pc. I tried Spybot, Adaware, etc... with no luck. As a last resort I told him I was just going to restore his computer to as far back as it will let me. It worked, The spyware/adware was gone.
*this was the only time that using System Restore actually worked for me in getting rid of this bs. Spyware usually uses Sytem Restore as a means to keep your pc infected.
If running SR doesn't work, you can try running Spybot, etc.. but you should disable SR first. *This will lose all previous restore points though.
If the spyware is still there after this, then a re-install is the ONLY thing that will work.

I had the same problem. Nothing i did worked so i had to re-install like 4 days ago. Running smooth as can be now. I have never had system restore work. :wall:

Get rid of IE and download firefox for browsing, much better stopper for pop ups and virus

and of course download above app spybot search and destroy
