Cant get 1.41 patch to work

Iv e downloaded the patch, it installed (it says) but when I get into rtcw mp, the scroll at the bottom still says 1.4......and its obvious the patch didnt hold. any suggestions????

1.41 still shows up as 1.4

I had problems before when do a clean install. I had to still 1.33 before I could install 1.41

Get 1.41b after patching to 1.41....It also shows the correct version in console.

1.41 still shows up as 1.4

If you have the 1.4 Full patch already installed then you shouldn't need to install the 1.33.

There are two 1.4 patches, a "Full" and a "Lite".
If you do not have 1.33 already installed then you need to use the Full patch.
If you do have 1.33 installed then you use the 1.4 Lite patch.
