stacked teams, 3 min rounds on beach, no sportsmanship

hi,
im m00 and ex regular on allstarsclan server which is dead now

ecgn is the last server alive but i miss fairplay

the teams are often stacked
docs get transmittted in 3 mins
axis take flag

on allstars we played the best map for around 10 people in deatmatch known as community or base2
teams would be shuffeld immediatly if are stacked
there were fairplay
good smalltalk
and teamspirit

theres nothing left from it on ecgn

i didnt even take flag if i join axis and spawn in allied bunker
but there was a time when i had no chance to kiill anybody so i get frustrated and bleed or tk or take flag

i have to take meds that reduces my reaction
i play on a 55 inch lcd with inputlag

I hear you. I used to be able to just play a video game and have fun. Nowadays I find myself spending hours plotting schemes of revenge and figuring out ways to 'grief' my enemies like I used to do sometimes when I was a teenager. But now, it's all I do. I'm in a constant state of anger and rage. I've even began to consider using hacks to show some of these try hards whose boss. All 50 of them anyway. :( And now, with the lag problems everyone seems to be experiencing (bullets feel like they're traveling underwater and constant lag spikes, I'm central location) I've had to double my visits to my therapist.

After thinking about it for a while, I realized, if my enemies are still here playing this cute game, in a way, I've already won. There's no need to add insult to injury but I just can't help myself. My psychiatrist says this is normal in my current stage of development. I wish the server could be about fair play and as pleasant as an environment as possible (maybe like a retirment home or something jejejeje). It just seems so cruel now especially with the lag.

m00 is right, you really should think about the mental health of some of your players. Personally, I'd be in favor of shutting the server down rather than paying for such unreliable hosting (or whatever the problem is). Hopefully soon I'll be able to stop playing this game or maybe even start my own server. Thanks guys! :]

Ultimately you would hope in a game as old and beloved as this that the remaining players would show class and sportsmanship, as it's in their own interests- but sadly not. You get the same people stacking axis, admins who will fix the problem if they are on the weak allied side, but do nothing for round after round if it's stacked the other way. In my opinion there aren't enough admins to deal with the amount of idiots on the server atm, and I share m00's frustration with the attitude of some players, and also the non action from admins towards this minority.

Yesterday was especially brutal on Ice...Axis was stacked, and all they did was surround spawn and kill the shit out of us ..slowly Allies just left..I gave up when their was only 4 of us left..Another thing that's annoying is when a really good player joins the stacked side instead of helping the weaker team..I just want to scream Fucking Help Us...I m no where near as good as some of these guy yet I find it so boring to be on a stacked side..All I want is good sides , so we have good games , not to be raped because teams are just so unbalanced...What's the solution ? I dont know. we shuffle and teams still suck..Maybe a shuffle , then manual moving of certain player to make sure the top player are playing opposite each other..I don't know All I know it's not helping the server when people leave because of being frustrated ...This is the best game ever...Im just in awe of how some people are so good,you watched them and it's so easy for them..just my 2 cents

Yes moe i was there when that happened. The teams were fine until the admins shuffled them and every good player was put on one team. It was the worst shuffle I've ever seen

We can't see the shuffle until the game starts. Would be nice to be able to see the teams as the shuffle is happening. I have moved players to try and even the teams just to have them move back or create an argument with me on why they were moved. Should I ban or kick if they don't want to play where they are put? Should I kick and ban the players who are bitching about the teams but yet continue to sit in spec or on the stacked team and don't move? What should I do to satisfy every single player on the server who has a complaint? I do give credit to Moe for moving and trying to help without being asked. I have gotten to the point if you have not noticed, that I move players without asking. Asking does nothing. I have also stopped in the middle of a map during rotation and threw us back on beach because of people not wanting to even the teams to make the game fun and fair. Again...I shuffle every 1st round to break things up. I wish I could see the teams before the game starts.

You fail. I have asked several times please even the teams. I have repeated myself many times. SO....it comes down to I will only ask once. If the teams do not even out and I am ignored (as usual until someone else needs something )and we are on rotation, I will go ahead and put us back on beach. If I am ignored after asking once on beach I will move the player that best fits to even the team skill wise. There are times I will also shuffle and restart to the game. Fro gets moved all the time and he NEVER complains. As much shit as he takes from people calling him a hacker, he is one of the ones I enjoy gaming with because he is fair and doesn't cause bullshit. I don't need to ask people to move. It should be obvious it needs to be done.

About the shuffle - our algorithm is: for one !shuffle it shuffles three times. Used to be, don't know if it changed.
If you see the admin do a !shuffle kill out with a nade before the round starts. Then you'll see what team you will be on.
A shuffle is a shuffle, - can't get a new shuffle if you get bad cards in poker yeah?
Play it and try to make the best of it.
- I mean who complained back in the days. I think it's to much whining the older the game gets and players getting lazy or think they are leet. It WILL be a full hold or skulls for the other team sooner or later.
I'm happy there is a lot of OSP cups at the moment with coverage by old school Warwitch the shoutcaster and co. So there arre many old schoolers coming back that still are REALLY good players. Enjoy the game.
