i need HELP!!!!!

ok here is my qustion if i create a new sever i need help with a list of things


1. how do i make it devoted to a certian map?
2. how can i make like fun mode and flame limits?
3. does it cost money?
4. would any of you play it and if so what map should it be and what kinda stuff do you want on it

and im sure i will have more qustions later but for now that is all i can think of thanks for your time and and info

Sorry, can't help you on the technical side. But I can open my big mouth with sugestions.
1. As for the map, assault would be nice, or maybe base. Not another beach, another good beach and my head will explode from all the choices.
2. Use the mod from 0c48, I like the extra clip as a medic, and the needles too.
3. Be there as much as possible if you get considerable numbers of people, can never have too much admin supervision.

I guess I'm there, as long as there's oponents that is. Good luck with it in any case.

make it dedicated..then its one map...and bann voting for other map...

the fun game is a patch or a mod..you can find it on the internet....and its free but hard to configure,....

speaking of making a server, i downloaded the mod...and for whatever resason..it says to add something like +shurbmod (or something like that) into the target box....i tried that, but it says it cant find the specified path....this is a small question, so it isnt worth posting a new thread.

As for maps...you should try kung fu grip, its pretty fun.
g_speed (number) changes server speed
g_gravity (number) changes server gravity
g_ltchargetime (number) changes LT class charge time
g_medicchargetime (number) changes medic charge time
g_soldierchargetime (number) changes (you guessed it) soldier charge time

those are some basic commands that make (my servers at least) fun.

1. To devote your server to a certain map, just make a rotation as normal and disable voting.

2. Use the shrubmod.

3. For a good connection yes it costs money.

4. Your guess is as good as mine.
