Panzer whiners?

I wanted to get everyone's opinion on this. I play ecgn beach every day. There are some players that are constantly griping about getting zapped by a faust. I used to use one alot, but have backed off now. Do people complain too much about it? It's a valid weapon and very valuable for saving the game. What do you all think?

Even though i usually only get killed by a panzer...It is a cool weapon if used properly and not abused.cough "war room" cough. Nothing worse then getting all the way to the war room and then getting blasted by a panzer once u pick up the docs

Funny, being as I get killed by Grenades prolly 3 to 1 compared to any other weapon, I'm suprised that someone hasn't started a poll to reduce the number of nades flying around.

lol, yeah thats pretty much which is coming to. as for the panzers, they already been cut down by one, and people are still whiners. then they need to realize its part of the game and get a life

The real question is this...

first everyone used airstrikes.

then everyone used panzers.

now that those are both limited everyone resorts to nades.

Do you see a pattern there?


It seems to me that a majority of players are just not skilled at light weapons, and will resort to anything else they can get their hands on.

Personally, I love making people go SPLAT! I suck with the nube toob, so I resort to nade throwing into Axis bunkers to take out their faust handlers.

Hmm...or maybe they realize that there is a 64 player limit, and TONS of clusters of enemies, along with a med charge bar on steriods. What would you rather use...use a clip of light gun gun ammo only to have the enemy run around in circles throwing med packs to himself, or a nade to blast him, along with any other buddies he may have in the area?

hmm.... i choose the option where I drop the fool with a few headshots and then repeat the process with his buddies.

wait a sec people kill with guns.? i havent seen that ..half my deaths are single killed panzer shots and spammed nade

true i feel the same way most of the time i will run out of small arms fire and use a nad or to get the dang snipers from the axis hide outs its really fun ....

Of course that can take us to another discurssion about what to limit on the server and what not, but so bad is the people who complain of every move you make, what weapon you use, it is bad those who say do not limit anything.

[*]those who want limits even how many steps you make per life, leading to a point he really wanted from the beginning:
A match with just SMG where they think that is a equal, fair, even match claiming your supposely no skill handling weapons as the cause of your use of such powerful weapon ( same stupid behaviour of thinking something as universal if just a few do it) and where he take any advantage his weapon against the rest of us ( something curious these people are who they have a ping lower than 100 Mostly,) and trying to justify his reasons with the fact of a weapon not to kill people, just tanks ( congrats eintein)

well some points clear:

[*]Panzer isn´t a nonskill weapon ( and it doesn´t care what people say about that, any reason given by someone has no clues of anything, no further discurssions can be made already about this point) ( now the arc, angle or whatever you want to call it add more difficulty settings and requires more knowlegde of your weapon and skill to handle on long range shots)
[*]Has anyone noticed we are playing a game? ( no, just ask yourself about this) This game like many others were developed with the rocket mentality in deathmatch and single player created by ID games DOOM and QUAKE, II and III.
You surely didnt complain about that when you were n a deathmatch in those games and saw that someone blast against a wall your ass with the rocket launcher and you tried to nailém with your pity machinegun.
Does anyone complain because if you dont aim at the head you have to waste 10, 20 or 30 bullets instead of 1 to kill him as if it was a real life.
Of course we forget in WWII no one get healed because you stings a syringe in the head or in his ass.
was there any documents in WWI that after flaming them, shooting panzers,... were still intact?
Come on guys we must get along with this if the game was created with that idea, accept it, or like many people has said, buy your own server, and set any settings you desire, allow the use of nukes, and enjoy your non - creative life.
[*]Want a total, realistic game and a great challenge......... just play Operation Flashpoint, you die with one bullet, you have to be on he ground crouched to fire your gun properly, and of ourse we almost forget it!! , no one fires a LAW, Carl Gustav against you unless you are inside a tank. Oh wha is better, Get a M16, AK 74 and make your own hunt but gives a warn before to get away from you.
[*]Blockers on the forward bunker will never end blocking, ... many people has said it, but no one seems to hear what the simple truth is, always many new people come to the server ( that is the idea of a public server so you won´t stop these endless wave of people who has to be slaped, warned, and even kicked to make them understand why there is some rules about the use of the weapons on some specific places, but limiting the number of these weapon you WON´T solve anything, you just hide the problem and avoid any responsability just searching the easy way of making something that has showed us ( at least me ) that the easiest way of making something it is not the most suitable choice ( any one remember murphy rules, what a great sort of rules, you finally end the day hating that man:D)
So guys do not fall in the dark side thinking that ideas written above and change your mind and be a more consequent and allow others players to enjoy the match as it, as the rules were set and enjoy you the game too, but do not try to make us believe that the right enjoyment for the game is what you were trying to sell us.

operation flashpoint sucked =p go play battlefield if you want to run around for an hour looking for action. that doesnt seem more realistic to me. the carnage of beach is what keeps me here
