Major Asshole getting people banned

Ok, I was in spec (as usual) and I noticed something very disturbing, which may also be related to why
people has been getting kicked for no reason lately:
I was watching, and I did a /clientnum crapnel, and to my surprise, I found that there were two crapnels, both going eng, spamming nades everywhere. I mentioned something about it, and one of the crapnels changed his name to Pete the Treat. I figured, maybe that is crapnel's buddy, and left it alone. Then Pete the Treat proceeded to intentionally block the forward bunker door, and got kicked. He re-entered the game, and changed his name to Downey (in all white letters), and the real Downey (does his name in all red) was playing at that time. The fake Downey then disarmed his own teams dynamite twice, and an admin who was playing proceeded to ban Downey, the real one with red letters. I noticed this, and explained the situation and got the real downey unbanned....then I looked up his aliases, one of them was Walker in all white. Funny, there was a Walker now, obviously he just changed his name. I waited a couple minutes, and did a !seen crapnel, a !seen pete the treat, and a !seen walker, and they both showed the exact time. Obviously the same person, who goes around impersonating people to get them kicked or banned. Check his stats if you want, it backs up what I saw. But imagine how freaking irritating it would be if someone impersonated your name and got you banned.

This guy should be banned and castrated so that he cannot reproduce.

I once saw two players being controlled as if by one user. But stealing names is an old trick, somewhat annoying, but its a public server so what can you do!

I knew something was up when they perm banned downey, seen him on a ton of times and figured he couldnt be behind such a crim like this. stupid name copiers.

Yes that has happened to me before. Luckily a good admin was on that saw what was happening. I asked why I was kicked and he said for door blocking. I always sprint out of the bunker if possible and that game I had top score which I pointed out. He then noticed the imposter and banned him.
I agree with a permanent ban for these guys when found. Sends a message to others who are thinking about doing this. NOT ON THIS SERVER!

They know going into the server they are going to get a ban and that is their goal...so be it.

i have this problem with more then a few of my newbie fans i must of pissed off to much. they track me thru pathfinder and do the same thing over and over on other servers. very annoying a simple /m to the local admin always clears it up but if none are present i have to leave cause these players are so horrible at wolf they cant play the game correct so they try and mess things up and impact the game in a bad way for attention

There was one time that there were four MyHopesAndDreams on when i was. Didnt know what was going on, but i'm glad no one banned me. It's irritating-

This happens a lot. Usually when you enter the !ban scumbagsname command in, Shrub will tell you there are matching players.
There's a simple way of finding the culprit and banning the right player that apparently this Admin didn't know about.
\Clientnum scumbagsname
If two show up, the ban-deserving punk is usually the lower scoring gent. The names usually show up in color, too, so it's easy to pick out the retard.

I was the admin at the time....... AND yes I know there was an easier way to do kick or ban...... it's just nobody knew "AT THAT TIME" except for Nofx {which I thank Nofx for helping me out} that there was some asshole using Downey's name... and yes he was unbanned within about five minutes of all this happening...... And I made a public apology for not realizing there were "2" of Him (Downey)

Yea at the time none of us knew. I sort of had a feeling though that DOWNEY wouldnt do such a thing, but you never know. You did the right thing.
