i think i have bad new for you.
someone stole your cd-key.
your key is now useless.
try finding some new ones on kazaa or other websites.

Do you still have the reciept? Then go back to the store, explain and ask a new one! Works fine for me!

check to make sure the last 4 digits are still in place in your cd key field. for some odd reason, mine would disappear randomly and give me the invalid cd key when connecting..

EMail EA with your information (name address phone) and your old CD Key, and also attach a picture of your case if you have it, and they will give you a new Key. I had to do this with all 3 Battlefield products when mine were compromised.

most likely an install issue...we have seen this b4...do a search in the forums for "invalid CD key" and see what you get.
even when you uninstall the game therer are registry keys that do not get removed...remove these and reinstall. used Find in the Reg editor and look for "battlefield" and "ea games"

return to castle wolfenstein was made by activision not by ea.
we are talking about rtcw not bf. but i think what you guys said could work for wolfenstein to.

just curious, how would someone steal my cd-key, and how would the game know it? also i bought a the game today (not just for a new cd-key, i was going to anyway) i changed the cd key, and it still doesn't work. any ideas why, or more suggestions of what i can do?

one of two things happened....
1) Someone has your CD key and is using it...
2) The Cd key randomely deleted itself and youll need to go into options and enter it

yeah sorry fellas....didnt notice that this thread was in RTCW forum...
i would bout bet the mortgage tho that the same goes for RTCW as well....its not really an stolen key its a install issue
complete an uninstall and the go through your registry either manually of with something that will find invalid/obsolete keys and remove everytrhing that has to do with RTCW and then reinstall

try reinstalling wolf and then try it, it happened to me once, if i had gotten disconnected from a server and tried to reconnect. i would get that message, and if it still does it, leave the last 2 digits out and try that
