Secret agent man

Dios mio! I am a firm believer that we should bring back the spy option. I mean, come on... with tk'ing now on spying will bring a new challenge to the game, it will be dangerous as there will be a bunch of tk's, but how many ppl ever spy really? I did it alot but I rarely saw anyone else do it.
So what does everyone else think about this?

I am not really sure how that would play out. I am used to looking for spies, but other noobs are not. It would be nice to test it for about a week or so.

Of course, I do not know why it was taken out in the first place along with the playdead command.

Ah yes... play dead, definitley one of my favorites... really came in handy alongside the spy command... I say bring them both back.

Imagine 40 person in diguise trying to stab evryone because they cant see who's in their team... It would be tk land.

When spy was active, it was used only sparingly, because just getting to be a spy is a challenge.

Yeah but if you choose to become a spy you expect to get killed, just so long as people know this spiers are great fun.

And then kick voting would increase.

When spying could you use a sten? I mean it's a silent weapon, right? I'd always end up losing my outfit as soon as I fired it.

The only weapon you can use is the knife while in disguise.... otherwise you lose your disguise.

Spying was awesome!!! If you team was getting smoked you could at least try and spy and have some fun

Im against this. This will only make tkers harder too spot and it will get out of hand if not dealt with in the right way..

yeah i agree, there to much other crap to worry about. theres enough tk's already i get tk'd at least 5x's a round. at least

I agree with the spy option.. I remember before when the game would get boring i would spy just to mess around with people and it was awesome..also the playdead option was fun..nothing more fun than playing dead by ducts entrance having 4 o 5 allies go over u and not gib u then get up and kill them all...haha

Can you still play dead? I see some people still do it, but the command doesn't work when I use it.

There will be a lot of tk's related to the spys. The tker gets penalized, which in the spy case is somewhat unfair. I would be in favor of bringing back the spy option only if the tker didn't get penalized for tking the spy (I'm pretty sure there is no setting to do this, so I would be opposed to it).

I mean honestly, how many people did you see do it back when it WAS authorized, very few... and it IS a challenge to do bc you have to find some newb lying on the ground ungibbed.
I believe if we open this feature up again, there will be increased enthusiasm in the game, just because it means you have to be careful enough to not tk that much.
And for the people who don't frequent the site and see ppl doing it? sure, tking will happen... but I think it's a risk that we should take, maybe only for a few weeks or so just to try it out.
I could easily be wrong on this one, but I don't believe this will be a major problem in the least.
