"Other" Kill

I was checking my stats and I saw that I had 1 kill in the "Other" category . I just dont know what it is... can someone tell me?

its not goomba cus there is a catagory for that!

i have one or two deaths for other! i think they are like when you get caught in barbed wire or you fall, don't know how you would kill someone thou!:D push them maybe! or maybe feed the too many med packs!:freak:

When FF was off, the other kills were teamkills with dynas of wall. If u had few health and the wall blowed near you, you die. Maybe another "other kill" its be killed at the same time by 2 differents weapons.

What about the artillery on beach? (the artillry that comes up "wolfplayer died." or "wolfplayer was killed."

Nop, its the same as you fall or you die w/barbed wire.

Ok... but how can you kill someone like that? Those are all different ways to suicide, not to kill someone

This is a catch-all category for kills/gibs from falling, drowning, being crushed, and the like.

Can someone give an example of a person giving an "other" kill?

When someone is blocking an A/S and waits too long before the smoke grenade blows and get killed, does it count for "other" kill or is it a A/S kill, even if he blocked it ?

Someone can shove you off a ledge, if you have 1 health point and die from the fall that may count as a "other" kill, when dead, but not gibbed, bodies hit you from falling that may also be another "other" kill. Im not sure how the drowning one works though. Theres also a glitch on the beach where you can get crushed to death, that may also be another one.

There are many way's other kills get listed. Other kills do not happen much so that is why the title, hence other.

Getting cruched in RTCW actually gets logged as follows. The person that created the stats just used other as a catch all. There could be a catagory called Crush for the example below.

3:44 Kill: 1022 0 53: <world> killed {IMA} Blitzkrieg by MOD_CRUSH
3:44 Gib: 1022 0 53: <world> gibbed {IMA} Blitzkrieg by MOD_CRUSH

By the way it hurts alot when you get crushed!
