There is a combination "hot-key" fix for this Silver.. Please press Ctrl+Alt+Del at the same time twice.. Then all will be better!! :P

Sorry for the confusion Silver... but the restart was necessary in order to reset your mousepad drivers to their default configuration. The OS has the unique ability to wirelessly communicate with the mousepad to allow plug-and-pray to rediscover the relationship that your mouspad and monitor has. They will eventually create a very strong bond that should never be broken. ;)

....and give your mom a "hell yeah" and a "hi-five" for me for her assitance!!! :D

He did trick you. There is no such thing as mousepad drivers.

Reminds me of the time a long time ago...My dad liked playing that NHL game but he did not know much about computers. All he knew was to double click the NHL icon on the desktop to get to hockey. So one day, my brother in law and I made a batch file on the desktop and replaced it with the old NHL icon. The batch files was a few dir/w's and then in capital letters, "COMPUTER DELETED BECAUSE YOU PUSHED THE ENTER KEY TOO HARD". A couple days passed and he had not said anything. So we asked him how hockey was and he said something like "I don't know what the hell I did there. I couldn't get into it. A bunch of stuff came on the screen and I don't know what happened. Said I pushed the enter key too hard but I don't know." Was funny as hell.
