Any admin wanna put the lives back the way they were before switching to the ice map? I'm noticing too many fully skulled allied teams.

Negative, it's cool how it is now. Be skilled or get skulled, makes it more interesting.

i like it! once we get used to it, our games will get better. if the allies dont work as a team it will be impossible to win. and a soapbox moment: it will put a small amount of realism to the history we learn! d-day 1944, monte casino, sicily...

at least 5 more lives for allies since thier doc running.. dunno tho havent skulled yet during a full game

I like to see skulled allies. It makes them have to pul together. It does mean that there is a little more camping but you get rewarded with enemy skulls if you attack right.

When I see I,m running out of lives I just go to the war room if I,m a axis and camp there, well as a allied I,m in trouble nowhere to camp unlless you are a LT and you camp at the shelter in the trenche befor the stairs and hand out ammo :)

Savage nailed it.

One good thing about this server and most of you is that the allies understand that the solo run dosent work.The life limit just forces team work.

I admit limited lives has kept me from making as many of the selfish lone duct runs, it makes the gib worth stopping for and I see a lot less quick punching out.

Give it a chance,it's a good thing.

Two of the biggest reasons to limit lives:

1) It forces teamwork and prevents selfish doc runs alone.
2) Makes stopping for a gib a huge factor in the game.



Sometimes I think that the rounds should be 8-10 minutes and the lives should be reduced to Allies: 15, Axis: 10. I have played like this is countless other servers and you wouldn't believe how people work as a team by backing eachother up and watching out for eachother.

Well, if that were done here, then this server would be just like the rest, no? (albiet larger with better connectivity).

Some of the recent settings changes seem to push us in that direction anyway.
