Tourny Players Read.... GAME EXAMPLE
OK, just so everyone understands how this is gonna work out, here are some examples of how games will play.
Game 1- S.S. (Z) v. Ind
Admin chooses home team based on some random selection (coin flip, paper draw, etc).
Ind wins home, which means S.S. map is played first.
S.S. map is complex, round 1 begins with IND as allies (you will always go last on your own map).
IND fails to achieve documents, teams switch sides.
S.S. returns documents, wins first round, is up 1-0. We are only going once per side on each map, its all we have time for to get this done in timely manner.
Switch maps to IND (beach) for second round.
S.S. is allies first, fails to achieve docs.
IND up next, fails to achieve docs. Round 2 is a draw.
S.S. wins game 1-0
OK, alternate history time. Let's say that IND returned docs..... this means that IND wins second round, game is tied 1-1.
Tiebreaker time, IND being home means S.S. goes first on beach map.
S.S. fails to return, IND returns. IND wins game 2-1
Hope this clarifies things for everyone.

Alright, next question. This one ALWAYS comes up at tournaments. How long do we wait on people when they're late, or they're having computer problems? Inevitably, one clan or another will be short somebody or they will be having problems getting onto the server, what will be the grace period before we start without them?

Good question, since we are all friendly we will give 10 minute grace if game is on schedule. We will also allow teams to play with 6, if needed. Don't think this will be a problem, though. Looks like almost every team is carrying extras.
Wick, does GFU have someone that will act as admin on your server when/if GFU is playing a game on S.S. server? We need to cover this angle.

Alright, I'm not one that likes to complain a lot...but...I want to make sure I get this straight.
Let's say on Beach. The allies win the match in 9:20 leaving only 40 seconds left on the clock. The team on Axis now is going allies. They win the objective in 2:50. Sooooo, it's a draw?!?!?! I just am feeling that a lot of conflicts are going to occur from this. We could always do Stopwatch, then 1 round of each map...it will be the exact same thing, but there will be a winner. It seems like the same format, except that it doesn't matter in what the allies set. It will also be better on time. If allies set a quick time...let's say 3 or 4 minutes, then other team has to beat it and not take 10 minutes >>>waste of 10 minutes. That could lead to even play 2 rounds for each map like proposed at the beginning. Best out of 5 scenario.

What does it matter if a round ends in a draw??? All that counts is the fact that there is a winner determined in the end, which with there will be.
I will make matches stopwatch.
You know...., just because you haven't done something a certain way, doesn't mean that way won't work or is inferior, remember that.
