There are other games being hosted here. I play tyhe BF series. When you first come to ecgnetwork.com they have the threads that have the newest posts on the main page.

It isn't hard to click on the post to read it from the main page, especially with 'is it true....?' as the subject.

Wow...I stay off the forums for what 2 days, and now I miss this. I just read this entire thread and please please please please stop posting Waldo, its like reading an 11 year olds rough draft of nothing. I read probably the first sentence of all of your posts and after the first sentence I just skipped the rest...

I would of never thought Doc would ever hack or use any of these aimbots...Its a sad end to such a great player of wolf...Earlyer in this thread I saw Weasel say that doc was a retard to computers, I find this hard to believe because he has been here for atleast 3 years...He can type fast, he was part of the rare few that learned how to Salute jump, he used teamspeak for awhile, he goes to college and has a computer at his disposal, I have seen him tell people where to put files...Maybe im wrong but this is my oppinion...Also weasel said that he had known Doc on the server for 3 years and that he knew him well and he would never do such a thing....when people say they know someone over the internet it is not in any way true, an example of this is that I have a good friend that uses aim that I just don't like anywhere near as much on the internet but he is my best friend in person, in real life. people don't act the same over the internet as they do in real life. Like myself I'm not all that popular, I am shy, I don't get along all that well with other people...Maybe thats why most people play these games...Because you can create your own personality...and these words in text here are just words nothing more nothing less...there not eye contact....there not good looks...so no matter how much you can say you know someone...you don't know half of who they are...for all you know it could all be a lie...a mask over what really lies beneath...

Noone knows for sure why the hack was in Docs wolf folder except Doc...He may have said that it was there as a test, but how do we know he was wanting to hack...Doc said he had terrible stats...And there is proof of that, but I just see no reason for him or any admin to have to test any hacks...Its like saying the Goverment wants to go test some new form of Marajanna, when they know what the results are and that it is illegal...

Shouldn't have had any hacks on the computer at all..RTCW folder / ET folder / consolidated folder..doesnt matter. There's no good reason to have a hack anywhere on your computer.

There's no point in testing them cuz in the end your gonna leave it to Punkbuster to detect the people using them anyway.

So using it for admin purposes is a fairly weak argument.

I know the RS server doesn't run Punkbuster, but if you're concerned about people hacking on it then you should be running it rather than trying to depend on experience in spotting it. It doesn't make any sense and the server doesn't run any smoother with it off IMO.
