Timenudge virtually lower your ping a little bit.
Your TWL got nudge -20 set as max.
Clanbase also.
Europes Warleagues got -10 cus we're more leet :P

Wolfy, how do you think i get a decent accuracy at a high ping server like ECG? With cheats?
With some nudge (+skill) of course.
ECG got a generous maximum of -50 nudge so the whole world can play there within "fair" balance of ping.
I use round -20 = still hard to track and lead shoot ppl cus i have <150ping.

The nudge is working better the longer the distance. I've seen ppl spec and comment my shooting on f.eg Assault that i dont lead ahead my shooting - it's the nudge.
BUT it's not always a good thing to use nudge. They higher the nudge, the more "warpier/laggy" your opponent looks. And in close combat it just feels wierd. Find a balance.
Still:
Real low ping is the best. It can't compare.

To the point:
They changed the timenudge rule in the cup. Clanbase settings apply.

------------------------------
The cup is almost a "Who is the best RTCW player?"
See recent thread here at the forums.
Many old school players in it.
64 players signed up.

And yea i played my first match now.
Me vs spanish player Juniper aka PTjun1'fps

Round A at mp_basement (his choice), i lost by 17-13 - he was really good with nades and naded my ass to win.
Round B at bp_badplace (my choice) where i needed a 5+ point lead to win.
Started out slow and got behind. The guy was really good with nades so my first tactic with spawncamp he destroyed with his nades and suddenly i needed a new tactic. So i picked up the pace and got more aggresive.
When 20 seconds left on clock we're equal (in total score)and the dude camped in the end of the map hoping to win that way. So i took a chance, ran like hell and got him just in time.
Match results: 34-33 in my favour :D

There where several spectators and i was very nervous.
*geeSuS the pressure*
Really shaky the first time. But i snapped out of it and got in the flow. I'd say i played for real the last 5 mins of badplace and that was all i needed.

If i win my next match i'll probably face 2006 Eurochampion Crmbs from one.soldier - lucky there is a loserbracket too..

Goofs that almost cost me the win:
In the end of Badplace i reached for a nade and accidently dropped an airstrike and would had get -3 points if Juniper had been hit, but i BLOCKED IT without Juniper killing me.
At OSP it's hard to block a/s..
Wohoo, fragvid material!

EDIT: this 2 maps in the cup is the same i wanted Chick and Ms.B play in their "vendetta" some time ago. That had would been fair.

Yeah, i'm on to next round.
Round 3 - winnerbracket.

I will face finish player Jonzie as in 'Edged|Jonzie / fixed.Jonzie' who won his match over eurochamp 'one.Crmbs' so i will have a real challenge next match. (my ass will get whipped)
In OwnitschCup2 i personally ranked Jonzie as one of the best. *gulp*

As said before, lucky there is a loserbracket too. Where Artan is.
See you Artan, i hope i will face you there. *jokes* :P

64 players from start. Climbed to at least 16:th place now. :D
Now the rough ride starts..

I appreciate all players who would like to pratice against me until the match. Maps required: mp_basement and bp_badplace
