Nah it hasn't increased more servers have just died. It's pretty much a 2 server game now...

Yeah.

I'm sort of surprised there's still 100+ servers listed in the browser. There's usually good groups on ECGN and Happy Penguin, small groups on a half-dozen more (Teh Palace, etc), then nothing.

Most of those servers are probably just running on people own machines. Clan leaders and whatnots that keep the server up just because they can. It's not a real indication of intent.
