Jimmy, I don't remember the details of that incident, but I do remember how you were banned. I believe the admins witnessed you TKing multiple people that day, not just me. A bad day at school or the office?

You were the only one i tk'd, i was just playing along
having a good time....

I remember slaughter saying well time to spec and
for some reason i thought he went to spec you since
you own :)

So i figured he saw the whole thing, anyway i got
perm banned for returning your fire.... you said you
were doing a tk revive...on a med...and i just kept going
away from you. You'd thrown a knife at me earlier and
when you followed me i figured you weren't done and tk'd
you. didn't gib you, just walked away again and left you
there, next thing i know i'm banned for two weeks.

then maa decides to make it permanent.

Hi, Namloot!

MoJo, that screenshot is great. I wonder if I have that demo somewhere.

Jimmy, I remember it clearly now. I (140 HP medic) was trying to TK-revive you (10 HP medic) in the basement. Believe it or not, it is common, at least in the OSP world, to TK-revive medics. That's because the charge time is a lot slower for med packs, which you want to save anyway for when you're under fire and really need them. So you TK-revive a medic who has low HP, and boom, he's back to half health. It's also better because you spend less time with your med pack out and more with your gun drawn, so when the next rush of Allies drops down, you're ready to pop some helmets.

I don't think a permaban if justified based on a single TK either way, but I don't know the whole story behind it and if the admins had further incidents.

me either.

i'm not saying the following to be an asshole,
but i don't like being talked down to,
i'm perfectly aware of why a tk revive is used
just as you should be aware you weren't playing
osp. You're playing shrub, where health packs
regenerate much much faster and since there
were no enemies around........

anyway, you seem like a decent enough guy,
nice demo, and you were truly a bastard to
play against...in a good way...

shrub doesnt change the health pack times. its just how the server is set up. go to any other shrub server and see for yourself, theyre much lower. beach medpacks are on steriods. im pretty sure you can change these settings on most server mods.

It's a shrub server setting. As far as how long the recharge wait is on health packs. Atleast I'm pretty sure.

Can't believe you got permanently banned for that.

Actually we banned you for being a dick. The tk was incidental.

The link seems down. Too bad seeing as you so thoroughly got my number. I thought I might learn some tricks by watching - heh heh.
