And for those who think 1.0 sucks, here a link to a big video game competetition website with an 1.0 pack created by twister. Some great 1.4 players find it interesting.
Jakal you should download this pack which contains anti-cheats tool, hitsound, redcrosshair ....

Today I managed to download a map with wolf at 200kb/s

A 6.6MB trickjump map downloaded in less than 1 minute !

to play on rtcw 1.0 i have a link to download a standalone Multiplayer
1.0/1.1 ( 440Meg game )

This installs the game seperate to your 1.4 game .
so that way you have both versions

( there was a link for 1.33 somewhere but i need to find it , then have all 3 ! )

then if you want to add 1.0 PUNK BUSTER to it once its installed

sluxx is my fav server nice twist to beach.

h4s, mob servers are good fun too. you can use drop reload there.

Put in the cd again and choose another folder I name mine regular but an 1 after the name.
And it´s works.
Yepp having 400fps now but not on sluxxx is some weird going on there can only get 23 fps, ping is 70 ,will search other servers I saw a bunch with 60ppl on.

Jakal do you get 333fps on sluxxx ? and what ping are you having?

ping solid 50 with time nudge set to -25.

Ping goes up to 60 with 400 fps. but is ALOT better just cant trickjump aswell as 333 fps

Just to add I caould probably get ping a bit lower with having maxpackets at 30 but 60 seems to work really well.

Also I do not have an idea why this happens but on H4S server after warm up I set max_fps to 333 (not tried 400 on there yet) vid_restart then set timenudge to -25 and vid_restart and my ping is at 7. it has to be done in that order and after warm up. and unfortunately after every round.

Well I have to test default cfg and see if I can get higher fps, sence 23 is lagging like hell.

I tested maxp 30 and my fps went to 23 instead of 21 with maxp 100.
