Voting on the oc48 server

Postby SavageParrot » Thu May 29, 2003 5:41 pm

Why the crap do you still allow voting on the oc48 server? I am as much a fan of democracy as the next man, but as I have only ever seen 1 vote passed in my time playing it seems a little pointless to leave it in place. The system of admins on the server is clearly up to the job of removing the useless tards who block up the fb doorway and there is little use voting for any other reason. Maybe if you got rid of voting completely it would remove the annoyance of premenstrual preteens permanently try to kick good players cos they aren't man enough to kill them on their own. Just a thought, let me know what you think

If you don´t like the vote system, just don´t use and ignore it as I do, as simple as that

I agree, voting should be disabled. It's irritating for me to constantly !cancelvote in the middle of battles so that I can nix the whining (usually) of some pea-cock who's got his feathers yanked by a good player.

On the other hand, people are generally loathe to 'rat' on others, so use voting as a way to try and kick blockers rather than tell the admins about them.

Don't be shy. All I need is a couple of comments from dif't players (unless I think it's a couple of jerks forming a coalition) to kick someone for blocking.

what is the command to tell you about a blocking player?
or use the simple sentence of:
_________ DON´T BLOCK THE F*** DOOR.:D, right?
