Many of us seem at times to lack patience with "Wolfe experience challenged" people. I am guilty of this at times and wish to express good will toward those with this temporary affliction.
Earlier, a new guy (My Sisters Cat) was getting the ribbing for being a doorblocking panzyloser. Instead of getting all pissy and blasting everyone with profanity (as do so many), he says 'sorry I'm new.' This was amazing. I've seen people so insulted to be called noob. So I salute him! If more noobs had this attitude -- WOW. Bring 'em on. It's a testament to this game that there are constantly so many noobs (as ZOG and others have said, we were all new at some point).
So please Noobs, don't take the ribbings personally. Hell, admit you're new and you may be surprised at how well you could be treated. Just play to have fun and get better, then YOU can be the Sergeant making fun of the lowly privates.

I say Fuck 'Em

Cry Me A River Noob Bastards. (it sounded like a good title....v,4,5)

i dont like to call people noob, i wasnt born playing this game either. if theyre playing like they dont know what theyre doing, i usually team chat to em or shoot them in the head.
i am very patient, but at times it can get frustrating. gotta love the push key.

it would be nice..instead of that spongebob squarepants quote when the server started awhile ago it said please dont shoot the panzer from the forward bunker door. i still dont think any of them would care really. anyways...

In case there's any question, I never meant to imply that I'm some Wolfe-god. I still do a lot of noobISH things - very frustrating.
When I may seem good (not often), it feels more like good luck - and I'll take good luck and winning over skill and losing.

I agree the PUSH function is a GODSEND.

And Colonel, I'd like to say the same thing sometimes, but my damned, evil nice-guy crap gets in the way. :D

Hey Doug I agree what you said was good. Actually today I played on a map I never played on and I was a total noob. I think it was flooded town or some crap like that. Jesus did I have a jump when I got gunned down by this guy with a giant head. Id put in a screen shot but the forum isnt letting me, I dont understand it. But I agree, were all noobs. Actually you could say that noobs are smarter because there always trying something new! Instead of staying with what they know their learning stuff all the time.

When I was a noob, I would just stick to snipering all day long. Hell, its easy and useless, but it was something to do. After meeting a few players and getting to know the map, I would take a bigger role in the game. I know I blocked that door a week ago a few times! It wasnt being a noob, it was just not being used to 15 guys behind you wanting out! I never relized it that day how annoying to the rest of you guys I was.
So now I feel like a flamer noob, I just love that toy, sitting in the stairwell watching all you guys run past me and see how long it takes for you to pass by me again.
Try this, pick up that sniper rifle, and take a few pop shots for old time sake 3/4 into the round.
That reminds me of the funniest noob thing I saw today:
I guess the noob didnt figure that he can change weapons, but he was in the ducts ready to drop down into the war-room. Guy had guts!
Now, if only I can get some damned GOOMBA'S!!!

Its good that they say i'm new, if they don't it means they already play along time and that means that they just suck :rotflmao: (get it?)
Well no problem for me that there are noobs on the server, as long as they don't block they are just easy targets for you to shoot so...:blow:
But i always start laughing if people ask, whats a goomba :D or if they say how do you poison, i mostly reply: you do it by giving other players (opposite team) health packs :rotflmao:

There is no excuse for standing in the doorway. When I first started playing I was smart enough to know that if I stand in the doorway, I am blocking my team. A lot of the panzer people do it just to piss off their team also. They'll be told over and over to move and not stand there yet they will continue to do it. I guess they just want to be a rebel or something. I have no sympathy for people like that at all.

Would it be way out of line to suggest a virtual RTCW Concentration Camp for unteachable neewbies?. :violin:

congrats doug the unforgiven, you earned some respect from me. ;)

Thanks. I wasn't fishing for any respect, but I'll take it.

At worst I'm just a windbag and no one cares. I'll warn you now that for every 1 smart thing I say there's likely a few stupid things fighting to get out. I lose that fight sometimes
:D :D .

Here's to being Human! And therefore probably an idiot!!:D
