Ok, I hear lots of people bitching both ways, should we only play beach, should we switch maps, or should we rotate... needless to say ECGN has tried miserably the whole rotation thing (I think we all remember tram), changing maps would just be gay because beach is what we're all about... however, I say that lvl 2 users and up should be allowed to call a vote once every few hours or so allowing them to call a vote to switch to a different map for maybe one round or so... what do you guys think?

Playing a few rounds on Ice or Assault could be cool, but a few weeks ago they tried and the server was very laggy.

I agree but nobody wants a rotation yet. I don't know why....I would really appreciate a rotation of some sort atleast once a week.

Well actually a lot of people want a rotation. But it hasn't happened yet....

The other maps that have been used here, ice station most recently and previously the tram, are a good change *once in a while* (I'd like to see the village). I wouldn't want to see other maps become regular or the norm.

What about TrenchToast? Everyone has it because it comes with Beach and it would make a great 64-player map. I think it definitly deserves a try...

I really would like to see other maps on rotation, 4 - 5 hours playing beach only can really make you get tired

One of the reasons that people play there is because it is a beach only server.There are other servers out there that rotate maps..not this one!

Exactly

I love just having it Beach.. I mean, it IS 24/7 Beach ^_^

But I remember last year when they did a rotation it was kinda fun. I guess because you get to be with all the same people on a different map. Maybe we can just set up times to play together on other servers? ^^;

a map rotation every once in a while would be nice cause Change is good. the biggest reason i play on 24/7 beach is the people, so it really doesn't matter what map is being played. v57
