Question to admins?

Postby Gamb » Fri Dec 12, 2008 3:13 pm

Why are admins changing Ur! members names to a name of a caught hacker? I have to say this is not only an insult to honest players but also a gross abuse of Admin powers.

I have had several pms from people saying Pico and Chief are cheats. Have a look on Yawn and the MBL, Chief aka Methodman is not to be confused with Method who was indeed caught. Methodman is from the UK and his accent is a dead giveaway on vent. There was a name stealer that used the name Pico that was caught but will notice he is from France and I highly doubt Pico with that heavy Scottish accent is in france

I expect a bit better research before an admin goes to such extremes as to do this. At Ur! we go to great lengths to make sure our clan is clean, anyone caught cheating immediately kicked , and we thouroughly check any and all applicant before accepting them into the clan.

i think pico and chief are both stand up players. both very solid and i've never thought they hacked , just rolled me several times. both fun to play with.

Rather ironic coming from someone who frequently calls everyone a hacker. You don't show any proof, why should admins?

Look, he just had an issue that he wanted to have dealt with. Not anyone elses business other than the admins to post and deal with. Why do you always have to try and make an arguement on the forum juventus? Do you get a joy out of it....?

Thanks for the relevant input. If it pertained to the post I could see point counter point response.

I'm glad I work the latenight shift on the server as admin. Seems most all problems occur during the day and evening, granted that's when most play. Apparently I'm like the maytag repairman of admins and that suits me just fine. Not pointing any fingers but I must show some appreciation to those that play late. Your always gonna have a bad apple on occasion but for the most part you latenighters are good players, are there just to play and have fun, and are fun to bs with. Sorry for off subject but just wanted to say gg to the latenighters for making admin easy.

haha! I can agree with you on that! Granted, I'm either playing late at night or random times in the morning.

Although i hate to agree with anything Gamb says but he is 100% right about Pico and methodman not being hackers. Ur! has a zero tolerance on hackers.
