Can someone tell me why does all the people from NNC and NCY are now S.S.? Is it a domination tactic from SS to govern and dictate the server so everyone would have blue and black names? Or is it just the need of being in a huge clan due to the extinction of the smaller ones? I dont have anything against S.S., but I dont understand why people all switched S.S. It's like HPC and their HP clan. Someone light me up on that please. :help:

I noticed some players in S.S. on today. Actually, I think BD has had as many, if not more, on one team at the same time; This happened the other night, if I recall. The thing that stood out (as you mentioned) is the fact they all use the same colors, BD does not. Doing a team list looked kinda cool actually:)

Not being familier with the clans in question, I can't address the why's and wherefore's of it. I will say, it was some good game play today, both with them and against them.

There's nothing bad to it, I enjoy playing with or against S.S. I'm just curious to know why does a lot of NCY and NNC joined S.S. all at the same time.

From what i've observed, NNC and NCY have all but disolved... remaining members joined w/ S.S. to refill the ranks that left when ET started to gain popularity. BD is more of an informal clan, a loose affiliation if you will. I however like playing w/ said members, otherwise i wouldn't be in the BD clan... it just about died a month and a half ago, but we've made some additions as well. But not so much to the length the S.S. boys and girls have.

Keep in mind other clans do play here just not to the extent of S.S. and BD. Alien members have graced the server as well. If you are concerned or want more info about the recent changes, p/m an member of any of these clans... S.S., Alien, BD, the newly formed BSZ and King clans.

Some of the clans are around for diferent reasons. Sometimes its just fun to play w/ a group a guys who you are accostomed to playing with. Help each other out, not for personal achievement but acts of teamwork that make a 5 minute period better than the rest of the 20 minutes. Defend the murder hole area, hold the back stairway, cover ducts, hold the upper bunker (allies or axis) commit an assault on a heavily camped war room... and to my complete and utter dismay, camp in the WR.

To some its KR to other people its points. Revives, spamming ammo or health, and for heavens sake, property damage and poison kills.

If you are into any or all of these, maybe a clan isnt for you. But if someday you decide hey, "so and so's name here" and i work really good together, im gonna stick around him/her... by all means do it. Maybe you'll be asked to be in a clan, or maybe you can decide to make one up yourself. If not, there are thousands of more rounds to go, to increase your skills and just have fun.

I apologize for hijacking this thread and rambling on about clans and so on and so forth. I apparently don't have any idea of what prompted me to say all this but whatever.

Ok guys (shrub and osp), Bubba doesn't do this forum thing much, so don't have a heart-attack seeing that I acutally was here in the forums, much less...responding to this thread

Incase some of you have not been around along time like I have (not age wise, no smart ass remarks), the S.S. had alot of members that played here. We played hard, we played fair, and we played good (for the most part). We had good games here and had fun doint it...win or loose. The first thing I learned about the S.S. was not that they were a group of guys bullying on the others that played here...they were here to help the others (noobs). They were here to have a damn good game of Wolf and have alot of fun doing.

We had a few tournaments and some scrims in the past. We won some , we lost some but still had fun playing. We are not here to dominate anything or anyone, but our presense will be felt.....and i hope respected.

I remember playing here along time before I was asked to be a member. At first I hesitated...kinda like being by myself. But then I realized how much good clean fun they had as a group...so I joined.

Back to the point.......I really can't remember how many members were here origanally, but it was alot. When Zog made me the Captain of the Wolf S.S. I was scared and elated. After a few days I realized...wow, there not too many of us anymore....most went the ET road. So, I started looking for players...slowly at first....was kinda picky. I picked up some non-tagged players and then when nnc and ncy started crumbling (sorry about using that word) we picked up several more.

I just want the S.S. clan to live forever, I want their presense felt, I want the other players that have questions or need help to feel like they can ask any member for it.

I perosnally don't like to scrim or anything.....just love to play. I just love this game...wife is wondering if I still love here...I spend more time with the game than I do her...(damn, I like it this way).

As far as some scrim I heard that's trying to come about......I'll talk to the S.S. members. If enough want to play in it...i'm game. It's hard for me to have fun playing when in a scrim..but....sometimes u have to sacrifice. I'm good at that..been married 24 years..grrr

Have you all seen the Walgreen commercials on tv about the perfect world.......damn, they sure wasn't thinking about the beach when they shot that commercial. Just wished when people log onto beach they were here to play and have fun...not to start any SHIT, not to tk anybody on purpose, not to get into a showdown with a admin...etc. I think you all know the majority of the people I'm talking about. When you come to beach, come prepared to play and havefun and leave your own personal problems or misfortunes behind you. We don't need them , we don't want them

Now, i don't know if any of what i just typed makes any sense...but don't worry.....it will be along time before Bubba does this again

I like s.s. they have a good crew but they don't try to make themselves look good by bad mouthing other players like some others. I am also glad they don't all play on the same team but spread themselves around.

Hey guys, most of you know me from the server and I just wanted to post something here to join the discussion with this. This is the first and only game I have played over the net and was not familiar with "clans" and the whole server politics thing. In the 9 months or so that I have been playing on the server, I have learnt much (as the wiseman would say...) and have always had great fun, even when I was a noob (don't even say a word Bubba...).

When I was asked to join S.S. about 2 months ago, I didn't have any hesitation in saying yes purely because of who the clan was. There is no pretentiousness or egotists amongst us and I seem to spend half my time laughing rather than playing on the server. The S.S. is just a bunch of easy going (and relatively high skilled - not you Squirrel...LOL) Wolf players who enjoy a nice mixture of fun and killing. Had this not been the case then I would have still be playing on my own rather than being a part of a clan.

I presently am delighted with the number of S.S. guys who now take part on the server and it's nice to have this kind of presence. However, we are definitely not here to "try and hijack" the server and gang up on other members. I'm sure you notice that if teams are hopelessly unequal, several of us will move teams to try and even things out - hell, everyone likes a challenge!!

Feel free to ask me anything if you see me on the server - i'm British so I can't help but be polite!!

PL_M@ster you have to realize the beach server has changed over the past year or two. Theres like a whole new set of players excluding Keekanoo, Bubba, Edogg, and a few others. Everyone else is basically new. I think I joined the forums last June but had been playing on the server since last February. Back at that time it seemed like a big friendly competition between {NNC} and S.S. Everyone wanted to join one of them, because at the time both clans had great players. Then ET came out and almost all of the S.S. clan members migrated to ET. Slowly after the mebers of {NNC} moved onto bigger and better things. I think for me <BD> was one of the funnest clans I have or had been in. It can be fun to play on your own and to play in a clan. For me I like both

I agree with King of Beers and Bubba, the thing that made me really happy about being S.S. was, is, the camaraderie between the members. We just gel together, have fun, sing songs, and kick ass.

Okay, I sing while the others kick ass.

Another thing is that S.S.{Wolf} was supposed to be recognized as separate clan from S.S. Like =SS=. But that seems to have gone out the window.

Bubba and Rand0m got me feeling all nostalgic now.
I’ve been here since the server was oc\24 somethingandnutha, but I wasn't a regular. I could be found over at NGI and mostly any Euro servers, I met some of the best people on *a tear* those euro servers. Skilled guys with friendly welcoming attitudes. *sob* I lost contact with all those guys *sob*. I used to come here for the pure beach only settings.
After I whored myself on those big 64 servers like Blueyonder and HappyPenguin, I started to appear more on Oc\24. But then they changed the name and I couldn’t find it. So I played on ECG24, little did I know it was the same server. Finally hit me when the same players were showing up and mentioned the name change.

And after I lost contact with those Europeans I ended up staying. I got hooked on the relentless pace and gibbage. I'd get my ass kicked by those NNC boys and various other clans. Even white names. In fact, as far back as I can remember I've always had my ass kicked. My earliest S.S. memories were of Wraith, Zog, Pons, Lordskiller et al. Yes, they too kicked my ass.
[NNC]Psycho was my benchmark, I wanted to be as good as him. Shut up! I can still dream.

It’s been great ever since. One day it’ll be over though. But then that’s where RtCW 2 comes in, if rumours are true.

Thinking ... that's basically all that I do (especially for the Bubster)!

Anyhow, I actually have been playing this server for a while now. Not only was I playing it when it was OC48, I was here when it was Motha Fucka (sp?). I initally played indepently, then I joined A.S.H (remember them)., and then S.S. after A.S.H. fell apart. I have played off-and-on, but I have been around for a while.

This discussion is a little reminiscent of older times, when S.S. was by even more of a presence on this server. There was never any attempt on the part of S.S. to "govern" or "dictate" the server. It was always just a bunch of guys (and gals) who had fun playing and liked playing together. I feel S.S. has always represented itself in a respectful manner. Yes, most of them have moved on to E.T., but some show up on the server every now and then. If there are any questions about S.S.{Wolf}, just PM anyone on the roster.
