Figo I will miss you man. You were a class act. For what its worth I think the majority of us here dont believe you were intentionally using a hack. You were here for far too long, and to dedicated to just throw it all away. I hope to someday see you on RTCW2 perhaps.

Just to be clear..this isn't a popularity contest. He wasn't banned by any admin for "suspecting" he was using a hack or because they didn't like him.

He was caught by Punkbuster and why should he be treated any different then anyone else caught with a cheat? I don't see anyone standing up for the 50 or so other cheaters that were caught by Punkbuster.

None of you people really know him or what he does with his computer, you only have a notion of him.

I remember about 5 years ago or so, a guy in my town was arrested for a double murder. Noone in our town believed he did it..Not because there was no evidence or anything (there was very convincing/damning evidence), but only because they couldn't believe "one of their own" could/would do that. Point is, they ignored the evidence because he was their neighbor (a lot still don't believe he did it).

Seems about the same thing going on here.

Equating murder to cheating is an indication of an alarming lack of being in touch with reality.

I knew Figo from when ECGN BEach was a FF Off server, and no-one gave a crap about cheaters. It was such chaos that one or two guys cheating didn't make that much of a difference.

He was funny, involved and we had a good time when he was on.

Noone is equating cheating to murder..I'm saying the evidence that he had a hack is totally ignored only because he was a regular on the server.

If any players or admins wanna walk because I try to keep cheaters off the server and because I don't play favorites, then so be it....walk.

I guess you forgot to read this post MAA...If he would have been hacking the WHOLE time then he would have been banned a LONG time ago, why cant you accept that this case was an accident and he deserves to be unbanned even though he wont play? We KNOW Figo spent too much time on there to just one day decide that he needs hacks (which he doesnt) which he knew if he used he would get banned for.

what kind of evidence is a sv_cheat.log? If you ask any of PB staff, they will say you it's a clear evidence the program is in memory. But from that to the player is cheating can be a so biiig step. But you allways consider it as an irrefutable prove. You prefere a nice text line in the log file, than a demo or SS of someone hacking.(if you like the similaties, it was like I was caught by the security guys of one Las Vegas' casino for have a "dice souped up?" in the pocket of my rented trousers, and acussed for cheating when any camera saw me took it out or play with it, also I didn't win so much money).

I never have denied that program wasn't working, it was without my knowledge. And you know that program wasn't created to be a cheat for games, it has a lot others applications (for that is still installed in "my" PC and for that was installed). You know this kind of cheat (speedhacks) is detected by PB since some years ago, you know if I was using it since months ago, I was caught before. If you can check the log's of that day you will see I joined and get kicked 4 minutes later (I didnt play, only was specting). Nobody (except for Star when smoke some kind of bad weed) saw me making faster moviments, firing faster, having a low ping than usually, more fps (on the contrary, for those 4 minutes my PC and my ping was close to blow). I explained my case, despite the comments of some of your admins, and for some reason, you didn't give me not even the benefit of the doubt it'd be an accident, and you made fun of it (like others).

You get banned from only one of thousands of RTCW servers, yet you claim to have uninstalled wolf.

You need to get your installed program priorities straight!

Honestly I dont care how long you've been using the program. I never claimed you were using a hack the WHOLE time (as someone suggested) As for giving you the benefit of the doubt...what doubt is that? There is no doubt. You were using it while you were on this server..and thats a no-no.

If I unbanned you cuz you are a regular on the server, my integrity as an admin is blown to hell. I'm here to keep cheats/hacks off and that's what I'm going to keep doing.
