I know everybody has his own opinion, but YOU can't say 1.0 players are idiots. I know a lot of amazing, fair and nice 1.0 players and I can't let you say that.
There are more 1.0 players, they have created a PB for 1.0, I often see players downgrade 1.4 to 1.0 .... if people do that, they must have good reasons to stick that version ...

look bro, you can try to justify it all you want but i believe 100% anyone that still plays 1.0 is an idiot.
and no, there is no good reason to stay in that version. i played 1.0 when 1.0 was the version everyone played...shit gets patched for a reason.

downgrade is an appropriate term though for those who go from 1.4 to 1.0. they are indeed downgrades.

I just asked an 1.0 player why most people do play 1.0. here the anwser :

"I can tell you S4NDMoD is far the best mod in whole RTCW. 1.4 players only envious because s4ndmod is not running in that version.

And now i tell you what i heard, many player come back to 1.0 because in 1.4 every day less and less player and the rest are big assholes.

Sience we have PB in 1.0 there is no reason update my game to 1.4 and lose a lot of cool stuff what s4ndmod has. In 1.4 i dont think anybody still develop any mod or something like that, howerver in 1.0 Travis, Martin, L0 and some other guy still working on the mod, take a care about players, make the game better and cooler."

BaD clan servers were a joke at the end of the day. Command tried to make a foreigner friendly mod that allegedly protected the server against consistent nukes, but all it did was skew the gameplay.

I think ECGN is running fine, minus the lag and packet issues i have from time to time, but it is a lot bigger and probably should be reset once a day, which isn't always the case. Not my place to police it. But be happy with what you have. Lord knows you will be crying when it's gone.
