Well if they are so skilled, why do they have to use /kill in a fight to dont get killed? If they are the most skilled they should be able to kill the people who attacks them, not doing /kill cuz they lose the fight all the time.

What exactly is it about dying that they find so offensive? I don't get it, will some one who does it explain their motives so that I can at least try to understand.

To elaborate on what mike said (btw, mike you'll have to tell me your secret to getting a permanent ban, only to have it taken off):

There is a mental component to this game. Some play to have fun, some play to fvck with people, and some do both. If you vocalize, you are being broken. Much like when beowulf does '/say lol' or '/vsay negative' when he gets killed (which turns into spam really fast), when you do '/say /kill is lame', your opponent usually gets a good a good kick out of this and can revel in the fact that in their world of perception, they just made you a peon.

People shouldn't even be mad at users that /kill when stats are off. They obviously aren't stat whoring unless they take an SS of their personal stats at the end of round and post it here. Soon there will be people whining about how its not fair that someone spawns right next to the mg42 and can get a couple kills in b4 their shield wears off.

btw aphid, you were being mean. You were essentially telling him he was a noob gamer that whines alot and should learn to mature. Some people have to /kill since they can't run around medding like u.

That pistol whip job sounds amazing, good job! If you can do that, you were probably more skilled then them, unless they had 5 health left.

Nah, he just spawned after doing /kill. I was in lower bunker and panzered me with his respawn shield, I had enough time to hide but he lowered me to 30. So I got there with my colt and pwned him.

And aphid is right saying that I'm a n00b and he is too if he really was playing as Gerome like a guy told me few months ago. Just that I dont whine a lot(well maybe at the panzers in game:P but I'm never really serious). I'm not here to tell anyone that they're n00bs or not, I play for fun and I know I suck, wich wont make me stop playing.

This thread is more to help me get the /killers goal, and to maybe try to make realise ppl that it's a lame pussy command when used the bad way.

Amen to that, everybody has to start somewhere. I'd rather help players get better so that they might help me out in the future than run them into the ground like they were worthless.

I agree with you Savage. It is hard when you are new at a game like Wolf. I just showed my friend Wolf and he likes it so he is going to keep it and try to get better and more used to it. You can find him around the Beach with a username of LiscenseToKill. He barely knows the map but he is trying. I told him not to block and stuff like that so he doesn't get kicked. I think it is better to help a newbie than to just kick them for nading you on accident once.

I see my words were taken out of context somewhat. Some fault of my own. Let me rephrase.

The people who hate /kill are poorer players in comparison to other more advanced servers. Prove me wrong if you care how I feel about you and show me you are better (why you'd care, I don't know...?). On this server, to be a good player, you only need to be able to stay out of way of teammates, not block the forward bunker, and do the bare minimums of what is expected of the class you play to be considered good. On more advanced servers, you pretty much need to go above and beyond your class expectations on top of the things listed above to be considered average. I really don't blame people who hate /kill as they have not matured enough and do not understand the game beyond what they see on this server and what they are lead to believe by others. On the other hand, perhaps Woot /kills to piss people off but most who use it, use it for productive reasons. So...what I am trying to say is, the only newb here is Woot. Btw, hey Woot! Come play soon, k?

And yes, Pl Master, that was my name a couple months ago. It's perfectly fine for you to go into a defensive mode when you figured I was calling you a bad player as a whole. It's only human nature and you, like I, are both humans. So I understand your hurt feelings and why you feel the need to strike back. *hug*

I allways thought people used /kill to keep their Kill Ratio's high. People who do that are fucktards imo.

Just die. Its not RL. You aren't going to miss the next episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy if you get shot.

ROFL aphid. I'm not offended at all when someone tell me I suck cuz I do. It wasnt a strike back but a precision. Never told I was better than you, just that you aint a 1337 gamer. And as I see you look like the one who's striking back after seing that I said you were not so good. Continue posting, always fun to read in a thread where wo0t and you are fighting

umm, who was getting faced @ 1am gmt -6 on 07/16/04, went to spec, and then rejoined my team to avoid carnage?

As a side note, I don't understand why you whiners care about kr anyway, you have to look at the whole picture if you're trying to gauge someone's skill. That means KR + Accuracy + total time played + % time in each class + most used weapons.

Personally, I just look at accuracy + total time played to gauge a persons skill as it is difficult to misrepresent now w/ ff on. It would look something like this if it was in print:

Acc 45+% = u should not be playing this server, gtfokthx mean community wrecker
Acc 40-45 = u rule the beach, u work up a sweat playing and probably spend lots of time w/ different wrist exercises
Acc 35-40 = u learned something since playing demo, you are not incapable of learning or advancement, gj
Acc 30-35 = u are ok, everyone likes you cuz u're average and get worked up when people rage your face
Acc 25-30 = u are fun walking targets for peeps w/ acc > yours
Acc 20-25 = u should look into better equipment/connection
Acc -20% = omg i'm so sorry for you, @ least be lieut and be my walking ammo caddy

No one said the kr was important...just that sime people do /kill to get a better one.
