Sounds like Call of Duty 0_o
But I don't see any use in more different weapons.
Rtcw has 4 levels in weapons: little damage (luger), avarage damage (thompson, mp40), high damaga (sniper, venom), destruction (panzer).
If you use more different weapons (like mp44), the mp44 is almost the same like mp40 (just an example). So why should you bring in MORE weapons in tha game, if they give (almost) the same damage as a different weapon?

Brithish and Russian Forces is not a really great idea.
Just the good old German- US please :)

And no, no more vehicles (plane, car, etc.).
This isn't BF :P

i'd like to see eng have more to do.. like in et to build and fix things, not just dyno.. i mean wtf good it that class? other than to get a good nade count. as for the other stuff i'd like to see different guns and better maps. also maybe vehicles 'on some maps'. that would make it a whole lot better i think. more things to do and more team oriented. instead of just shooting and healing people.

I dunno, i think as a wordly audience it would be nice to play the game as a country member you most identify with. If parrot could be dressed as a British soldier im sure he would, Keek as a Canadian he would too... i'm only basing that off of previous posts lauding the benifits of Canada. My boy Vas would most likely don the threads of a Soviet for a round or two.

The Allies defended the freedoms of the people against the on-slaught of tyranny that the Axis brought, i think a fan of the original game would to see those ideals actually come through in the multiplayer gameplay.

i think vehicles would be cool. At least an old army jeep or something. Also the SNES verson of Zelda was bad ass, the N64 version however sucked balls.

You know i bet i wouldn't mind ET that much if it had used a different graphics engine. Something about it just didn't feel right. I wonder if they're going to create a new engine for RTCW 2 or do what they did with the first one and use an existing engine......hmmmm

alot of these things u guys are mentioning are already in use in ET. If u believe they wont use Et as a stepping stone to RTCW 2 , i think you all are mistaken.

One of the things that I like about RTCW is it's simplicity. The game is all about action and a players skill. If you make too many changes, you have ET or COD (as someone else stated).

That being said, portable MG34s or Browning 30 cals would be cool. They would need to be operated by two players. Maybe one needs to be an Engineer (satifies the previously mentioned desire to make the Eng more useful).

I wouldn't mind if rtcw2 looks like et.
BUT:
they should change hitboxes, engine (Doom3 in this case).
Remove stupid landmines and rifle 'noobstick' nade, because that has nothing to do with 'action' or 'skills'.
And the guns need a higher fire rate.
I love the sound of the Mp40 in rtcw, but in ET it really sucks.
And smaller maps ofcourse :) (most of the et-maps are devided in 2 parts)

the doom 3 engine will be very nice. oh yeah, they also need a shotgun cause' everybody likes a shotgun sometimes. Bani mod has one, well just a thompson that shoots and sounds like a shotty, but it still can be fun.

5) Broader range of weapons.
6) Tiered weapon-acquisition structure so complete noobs can't get the most dangerous guns and blast their own team to bits.
7) Character-affected damage. Get hit in the leg? You go slower. Get hit in the arm? Can't lift as much or aim as well.
8) Exploding ammo.
9) Jamming guns/bad ammo.
10) Armour (with weight cost--ie, more armour=more weight=slower)

Hmm..tons more. Would have to think about it.

Here what I think of Keek's thoughts

1) Would be very helpful
2) How about no n00bs
3) Awesome
4) Hopefully
5) Needed
6) Only we can wish
7) Would make the game really realistic.

well hello mr. fancypants

Well, the nice thing about different guns is just variety... every gun is a little different... like, an MP44, compared to an MP40 or thompson, would shoot significantly slower, have more recoil, but be more powerful... so it takes a different skillset to use it effectively...

Same with all kinds of different guns... makes things more interesting... more stuff to learn and master...

Besides, what's wrong with COD? If it had wolf's class system, it would be a much better mulitplayer game, and the single player beats wolf, IMO...

I don't see why anyone doesn't want more in a game than what's already in RTCW... otherwise, you have the same game, just with better graphics... pointless IMO...

I bet it will be good, whatever they do... RTCW was very good, ET was better IMO, and RTCW2 will be better yet :)

Rule,

IMO COD was fantastic too. However IMO RTCW was better than UT2, BF, and BFV. I remember back in the day when you had to RSVP if you wanted to play. Or you had to be a VIP or maybe the CEO of a company to get on the server. Whatever the outcome of RTCW2, i believe, will be better than RTCW1.

My fav singleplayer game, other than COD was for my XBOX, it was SW:KOFTOR. When SW: DLOTS comes out, im sure it will be better than SW:KOFTOR.

IMHO, i love RTCW, Better than D1, D2, and SOD combined.

actually, reading over what i just wrote, i got completely lost. If anyone can tell me what i just wrote, will they explain Rule's last post for me? :help:    :help:   :tard: :freak:
