Some screenies of a TKing SLIME "Kekkonen"

Unrelated but of interest.... Anyone know anything about a wack of 'silent' kicks being done the other night, around Sept 14th or 15th? By silent I mean no message displaying who is doing the kicking, just suddenly players being mysteriously kicked. I'd post the ss I have but as it's already in the admin forums, i'm not allowed to double-post a pic :roll:

Not from the dates you have listed, but on September 18th (maybe 1 to 2 am est) there was a strange occurance. Everyone in the server was kicked and given some sort of strange message (which slips my mind at the moment), it looked like a punkbuster message, but it definately wasn't punkbuster.

At first I thought the server had crashed, but when reconnecting and finding that the round was still going...i got a little suspicious...then it happened a second time within minutes, and the same message appeared. I did a print screen but for some reason it didnt come out (:() The kicking stopped only after we all started talking about going to the forums about it....so maybe related, maybe not?

Actually, after the first kick when we all started coming back in I noticed Bubba connected and I was gonna go to him about it, but then it happened again and bubba was gone

S o maybe go to Bubba and see if he rmemebers anything about it.

And keek, if ya want to post that pic here so we can see it, just alter it a little (shrink it down too so it doesnt take to much space). Put it in paint or somethin and highlight, then you can post it.

You don´t need be in server to kick /bann someone.

Yep. Sorry do not remember the much of the particulars but I got back on after a while. I do not remember how many other players got back on [ and it just seemed like a reset ] but it was a much smaller number for the rest of that game. Thats all that I remember. I may be talking about something entirly differant too. But I do remember a PB message and a strange one.

I dont know how but I know it's possible. One of my friends had a server and was able to talk to the ppl playing through the console without being in game...

Yah that kekonen gye...I saw him tking everyone. He was on a mass spree. It was one of those days when there were no admins on for hours straight...

You may have an ss, but it's not regarding the same ss that the admins have (entirely different day). I guess you didn't get the memo. See SilkysliM's post for actual events.
