Should the Wolf Server be cleared for BF2?

How about the BF server upgrades to BF2 and RTCW upgrades to RTCW 2. I am a big fan of the BF series, especially the DC mod, but there is room for both in the community.

Personally I think changing the beach server to a 24/7 ET Beach would spark more interest and keep Id's presence in the community a bit longer until RTCW2.

umm some of us play more then one server and one map.we all have are own opinions on how things should be except for the sheep and i seriously doubt nobody ever complains on the bf servers about the admins or server settings.was there pirate treasure chest hidden on the beach ..?cause i didnt know i had to look for somthing new

Well considering the beach server stinks these days, you might have a point. I still like to play a little bit once a while, but beach will never ever be the same.

Ikari Warriors was great back in the day.

Just a note, we aren't actually looking through the Wolf forums, we just can't help but see the threads since about 70% of the most current are usually RTCW. Most of those have been complaining about the admins. But I 'm with Boss...don't want to see the soap opera go.

Hope you guys get it all settled, although it sounds like things have taken a turn for the worse this last week or so

Just so we are on the same page. My poll was in fun. At the end of the day we are all gamers and most are looking for the same thing. Getting away from real life and having some fun. If RTCW keeps you going, great. But yeah, the last few weeks or even the last few months the forums have been dominated with RTCW issues. Doesn't sound like fun for any of you. Eventually all the public servers that ECGN provides will be different. Everything reaches a point where being retired is the only way to go. Maybe RTCW2 will be the time you get rid of the beach server. Who knows. But for everyone else the posts are entertaining and thats why your seeing allot of the BF guys play along. Allot of laundry is drying out here and you may never get it to where it was a few weeks ago. I'd sit back and get back to basics. Enjoy the game not the drama. I don't know Keek or Savant or any of your old school admins but if a game and a server relies solely on one or two admins to hold it together, thats a problem.

I still say close the beach.

lol. See what I mean. I love it. I got back out of bed to say a thought and look at Savants post. Crazy I tell you.

A few of you guys said that an ET server works for you. Do you think as a community that would freshen things up and help get back to basics? Personally I think you have all gone nuts playing one map over and over again. Maybe a change to ET would make it fun again. At least you would have a few more maps to play. Unless your all past the point of no return and you play railyard 24/7.
