Yea, I remember the time where running the docs was a rare event, and a great accomplishment. Back when one of the most fun games were on a stacked allied team, and even then the chance of running docs was less than 50%. Now, every noob and their mother is able to run the docs.

Well, it's like everything else, timing is important.
Sometimes, the skill of the doc runner makes all the difference. A "lesser" player/runner would never even come close to winning.
Sometimes, it's luck. You can pick the docs up from the war room table and win, without seeing an Axis player. A noob could do that (as long as they know which way to go).
If you are on a team that is owning the Axis, it's much easier (duh); Teamwork is important.
