Warpig, it is what it is, so why let it bother you.
It frustrates everyone when you're on sniper hill getting multiple headshotted by a luger on the forward bunker. I crouched, placed my crosshair on a stationary sniper's head, and couldnt even make contact with my luger from across the map.
View it as a challenge. It just makes it more fun when you kill someone who obviously has heavy tweaks (even if it takes two players

Glitch how dare you insult an honest player!!! I mean honestly your a former caught cheat and you have the nerve to actually rip an absolutely honest player? Now the tweaks to the configs are not illegal but there not exactly ethical , not to mention many of the cvars were actually banned in any respectable league because they were considered cheats. 333 fps is exactly one of those, it was determined to be the equivalant of a cheat as it changes your hitboxes , and makes you move faster and shoot faster, but when the game was initially made 333 was not even a reality to 99% of the people.
Any caught cheater has no room to talk, anything you say is suspect and a caught cheaters character is already defined by there previous actions. How can anyone be expected to unabashedly trust someone with a history of untrustworthiness?
If cvars and scripts do not make a difference why did leagues have so many restrictions regarding them? It simple they play a major role and they had restrictions to try and keep everything on as level a playing field as possible. I guarantee you put a player such as Twitch in the same room with Warpig with identical pcs, same connection and stock configs it is a completely different result than what we see currently. And that just one example.

lets clear this up.. yes i was caught cheating to those who dont know, it was a while ago, it was a wallhack... i was trying it out on chaos dm, under the names glitch and goofy... someone sent me it wont say who but i tried it out to see what it was like, kinda liked it so i played for maybe an hour or 2 with it, got caught no biggy aint like i still use that shit been legit since so fuck off if you really wanna try and be a bitch about shit

I play many of the new games and I do just fine. People that are good and still playing this game play it because this is the only game worth playing over and over (even if it is beach 95% of the time)-- not because they're not good at any of the new games. No game has been able to give me the same level of satisfaction playing like Wolf has over the past 7 years!

Also, if tweaks are a big deal to you...download a config of your own to use. And long range luger headshots to the sniper hill are luck...with a spray and pray guess game.

You're right about that... if i could get the same ping as warpig i would mop up even more.
The fact that you have so many unfounded assumptions of who people are and what they are capable of makes you quite an ignorant ass, really. Are you playing with only settings found in the menu Gamb? anyone who is shouldn't talk, even warpig doesn't follow his own standard.
Do you think rtcw is the only FPS i play? I can 'hold my own' in every shooter I play. Right from install. The fact that you don't know anything about me and you can sit there and tell me I suck at all other games is proof of just how ignorant you are. I don't have some complex where I think I need to be awesome at a game, I just try to do as good as I can.
Also, I have rtcw set up on a work computer that I rarely play but it has pretty much nothing other than binds changed and I can still shoot a lot higher than 33%. But continue being an ignorant hypocrite Gamb, its not like you can change.

Actually I am playing with only settings that can be changed in the menu or settings tab. Sure I have a couple OSP configs kicking around somewhere that i used to use when I played CAL and TWL. My comment about people without the cvars was a blanket statement not issued to one specific person but to several.
I assume everyone that played OSP had there config tweaked for optimum advantage and settings. At the level of play its expected but on a public shurb server I guess I just dont see it as morally or ethically justified. I would think good players would want more of a challenge

What's next, banning people for playing too much becuase the practice gives them an unfair advantage?
Maybe we should ban everyone that doesn't live the exact same distance away from the server that you do so everyone has the same ping as well.
Of course it's not fair, but it's never going to be. Even if the configs were all the same people would still have faster video cards and more expensive systems. Hell even the communists in china don't have the kind of uniformity you'd need to prevent that...
There's nothing stopping anyone looking things up to make their own condig finetuned so I can't see how it's unfair. Besides it only ever makes the slightest amout of difference. A good config can't make a bad player good...

Not true. Most of the online competitive fps games are hosted by a player which undeniably allows the host to be free of lag while other players have latency. GOW/GOW2/HALO3. Those are just some which i experience constant lag so i just keep playing wolf. And even thought its hard to hack a 360/ps3 it can be done, and that imo is not fair because they are hacking and knowingly tampering with settings that are otherwise fixed.
This may seem similar to what these "tweakers" are doing, but to the contrary, its mostly used to see friendlies/enemies better. Of course people change settings with timenudge, and countless others that i dont have a clue, but thats to accomadate for the euro/us ping differences. Otherwise it would be nearly impossible for a 250 ping to compete with a 50 ping player. Of course as we all know "exploits" which you may want to call could be kept under control by simple cvar limitations. It's a choice up to the admins but it wouldn't make sense for them to do so. And you probably wouldn't see a huge reduction in skill mainly because if a player can control the mouse well and get a headshot when they want theres really nothing the 100010101010 can do to stop that. Unless there is a latency to when the player fires his gun which gives the visual interpretation as the player getting a hs, but the server interprets it as a missed shot. Main reason why i would want a config.
And back in the day, these games were written differently with consoles so settings could be easily implemented to accomodate the player.
A couple of settings that im sure you would like to use are cg_bobroll 0, cg_bobpitch 0, cg_runroll 0, cg_runpitch 0. I dont buy that you only use two settings that aren't in the menu options. (warpig) Also screaming bullshit after getting rolt does not help you. It takes a lot of focus to play this game sucessfully and to be good is to combine the game with your instincts to perform these "miraculous shots". Sounds nerdy or gay, but you have to be in the zone to compete and not be distracted by petty problems.
Like taking a dump, your focused on having the stool leave your body and nothing else matters. If the phone rings, would you run out and grab it while you have feces in between your cheeks? Thats how this game has to feel for you. The second you hit the "t" button you've lost focus.
Thats how I liked to play in the past, when there were MAP ROTATIONS. Try turning global chat off and concentrating on getting headshots. Don't worry about winning, dont worry about reviving, just headshots. And once you can masterfully pull a headshot, you have aim, and then everything else will fall into place. It took me a while (03-04) to even realize where I have to aim to get the headshot, but once that was learned. Everything else was easy.

3. If you can't beat em, join em -- dl or ask for a config and see what's up

Oh ntw war......................pc games are the best...thats the beauty of them, u can get updates, upgrades after the release is out, and make your game to your liking, thats the point....getting a console game.......you are stuck to what you got for the most part, and playing online, ping matters the most on there............when I have my FPS at 333 ................it gives me a chance for the euro player that lags like a bitch

Oh ntw war......................pc games are the best...thats the beauty of them, u can get updates, upgrades after the release is out, and make your game to your liking, thats the point....getting a console game.......you are stuck to what you got for the most part, and playing online, ping matters the most on there............when I have my FPS at 333 ................it gives me a chance for the euro player that lags like a bitch
