Agent Subway abusing mute privileges

I've been seeing so much mutes coming out of Subway, twice directly at Bieck, sometime this week.

Juventus has the right to say in protest, not to be swiftly oppressed.

I recieved complaints about this days ago. I immediatly left game and posted it in admin section. It was confirmed when we put our heads together and was dealt with. Yes, your admins care and do look into complaints. I have no problems with anyone on the server. When issues arise feel free to /MSG an admin and explain the situation. As far as mutes, I've been admin for a year and a half and have muted one person. Level 1's please take note of the last sentence. Have fun and see you on the server.

Thanks admins for your attention to this matter. I've been playing for...well I can't remember...6, 7 years and I don't recall ever actually posting a formal complaint about a player until now. He was blatantly abusing his privileges, not to mention tking, unevening teams etc....

Hey weezy, to answer your question...I only know how I became an admin, maybe trying to make a long story into a short one will shine light on the subject. About a year and a half ago, during late nights on the server there was a few guys that were coming in and stacking teams, talking mad shit and running everyone off. I only play late nights and so my wolf time was getting shorter and shorter due to this. I sent The Powers That Be an email asking for admin, explaining the situation, years of play on the server, lack of admins on late night, my intentions with the admin abilities and lastly my age. This email was then posted on the admins forum asking all admins for input and how well they knew me. From what I read no one had anything bad to say really and a few had good things to say. Then poof i was given admin 2. Admin 2 is a probation level from what I understand. After I was admin for about a year I was sad to learn one day that I did not have the ability to do !pip and !glow =). I asked for admin 3 and was given it.

Hope that was not too long on you and atleast you get the idea of how atleast some probably got admin. As for lvl 1. Any admin can give out lvl 1. LvL 1's were given extra priveleges such as !launch a few months back. I have only given 2 people that lvl. I dont "really" know anyone on the server and I concider giving it as me vouching for that person. Glad to see the 2 I gave it to have not abused it ....yet

Bieleck do not throw stones if you live in a glass house. You rant off in the server lots and do you fair share of tking. Before you reply about my in game behavior let me stop you, its all true and I do not deny it. Now as for Subway unevening teams as you put it, I do not believe lvl 1 has the ability to move players other than spec.

Hayling your a good guy so do not mistake this as an attack on you. I disagree about you saying Juventus or anybody for that matter has the right to say in protest. The server is not a democracy as Donny has so kindly put it in the past, and none of us has any rights there.

Is there two kinds of level one's?? i.e. one with powers and one without??

Someone muted me but i couldnt unmute myself even though it appears as though I am a level one....

(note: I was muted for not saying anything, my punishment for silence was even more silence )

actually Kman, the !unmute command is defective. Even if you muted someone, you cannot unmute them.

Which is why really nobody should ever use the !mute command. Not only is it overused, like Macabre alluded to, but if someone is really screwing up on the server just kick them.
