this thread is the same concept but concerning the mausers. so any given night there are 2 or 3 players on the server who play allies only (lately wohin and some true soldier jabroni) and sniper all game - in and of itself a violation of server policy. add in a 3rd player and allies basically plays 3 players down. allies usually gets destroyed when this happens and then people complain about the teams while these losers sit out on sniper hill and shoot at axis not firing back. the map MP_Beach is designed for a variety of shooting. long range at the beginning, beach to base. mid range at the mid point (trenches to base), and close quarters (basement) towards the end

i raise the vote/suggestion to limit the # of mausers to 1 per team. it is a simple fix and only really negatively affects the first 3 minutes of a round until the walls are blown, instead of teh full 20 minutes these losers are sniping for. if they want to play a game when nobody else is shooting back then perhaps they should play single player.

While i agree with what you wrote, i also think people like (MaD Regis, Crosbythedog) and a couple others i can't think of who remain Engineer for the remainder of the round are useless tits as well, i mean once and awhile it's nice to play Engineer cause of the many extra nades, but the people who stay Engineer 95% of the time are kind of pointless.

Back to playing sniper all round; I would rather have a soldat with a thompson running by my side (my wing man) than a sniper sitting on hill all round jacking about.... atleast my wing man soldat will help me take down the enemy and provide backup when im reviving or healing up, or even attacking.

The best is when somebody who knows the ropes on my team gets together with me and stays with me vise versa during the game, i've had some of the best games playing with another skilled player using nothing but teamwork, had some of my best games without being on vent many times in those situations.

Half the times Allies would never get out of the trenches without a sniper.

Allies being shorthanded? How many times I'm on the hill and have 3 Axis tied up on the beach trying to get me.....

No use after 3 minutes?
Only a sniper and Lower spawn campers can see how many Axis never make it up the ladder when docs are taken.....BIG help to the Doc Runner....

Haha, his "Watch for slippery ladders" quote...Blah. I would never say he keeps me from getting up the radio stairs unless I'm already low on health; he especially doesn't stop me if I just spawned. The only things snipers do mid-round is get the occassional random kill when I'm looking in the trenches from antenna. They're useless and don't shift the game in favor of the Allies. Ever--even if the sniper's a good shot. The truth is, the axis don't pop their heads out nearly enough, and most of the time the sniper will just get body shots.

Snipers really mess up the flow of the game on beach, but on other maps I really think snipers are useful, i.e. Assault, and even Base on the bridge for this server. Beach is a unique map, that just messes up the whole middle-round portion of the game. I know that nothing will be changed, but if you're going to snipe all day and not be shot at, don't spam the server with your stupid "I snipe all the time, and can have a 18-6 KR for an entire round---Watch for slippery ladders...drr..drr...drr..." binds.

i agree with killer mike. and besides, the people who snipe all the time on sniper hill like headshot are so bad you can easily kill them with smg from upper base.
caffeine's anus is just sore because he is an easy target for snipers. he's constantly in the open on upper base. not that there's anything wrong with that but if you play like that you will get sniped...even on old osp servers you would probably get sniped if you're doing that shit.

I tend to like the all game snipers on sniper hill and occasionally the med or leautenant feeding em. I love to switch to sniper on axis and cleanse it rather easily. Then the next allie respawn...they jot back out there and usually die on the way....over and over. It also can relieve the axis from snipers as it turns back into a trench camp and people can stay out in the open so to speak to camp it.

pfft.. you can go sniper back at them all you want.. If there's a working MG, they're dead. (MG is an amazingly accurate weapon...)

I remember a game where there were 2 lts 1 medic and a soldier with a thompson supporting one sniper on sniper hill. Allies didnt do too good that game. I believe the soldier with a thompson was 10 feathers... :>

You cant spawn kill in mass effect with a sniper and when guys like dogday, 10 feathers, kman, and maria have a sniper rifle they cant tk in mass effect like they do with flamers and panzers. I say do not limit snipers :>

On a server with limited lives you really want to increase the limit to panzers? Also, to my point I mentioned earlier about the mentally challenged. You need to realize that there is a certain level of stupidity here that you are never going to get away from. Either deal with it or leave, it's not killing the server to have 3 snipers per side.
