If it's a .dm_60 file I use Seismovision 2 to play it.

That site changed since I've downloaded anything but see if you can get the multiview demos packaged with the shoutcast. Basically it's demos from all 12 players and you can select which ones you want to display at any time. I think one was snaps vs rewind on beach. There were a few others but I forget. You should have no trouble playing them in 1.4.
