Panzer whiners?

Panzers, Venoms, Flames, Snipes; they all have there weaknesses. But, when some people use the panzer, they fire then purposely do a /kill, just to get a fresh new weapon. This is what we need to look after, the limits don't mean much. Only in smaller games do the limits actually have a big effect.

That's one thing about it that I don't do anymore. I used to do that. But, as time went on, it became boring and not a true indicator of skill. As a matter of fact, the only time a use a faust nowadays is if I'm allies. Besides, it got boring watching "You killed Paul Hinrichsen" pop up on my screen 20 times a game.:D :rotflmao: j/k with ya p.h.

it's still true everybody has there weaknesses but it does suck when you make it all the way to the warroom just to get noob tubed but so is the game (thats why you let me go first and take the blast and then you can run in after ) lol

yes the panzer gets boring (surprising enough) its fun once in a while but.......

Hmm...I've used the panzer once or twice before, and I have no problem panzering in the basement. I also have no problem when I get panzered in the basement. When I get suicide panzered one step away from radio (most likely from Bubba), I just laugh and try again...after all, transmitting the docs would be a WHOLE lot less exciting if there were no panzers to stop doc runs. The panzer is not an unstoppable weapon by any means, they just add some challenge to a server that is usually comprised of 50+% of people who are relatively new to rtcw.

lol...but hes got a good point its much more exciting running with the docs when you know at any second you may be panzered into oblivion.

Last time i checked you were 2nd highest in panzer kills,so what r u trying to say here-If u panzer,you deserve to get naded/panzd just for the fact that your laming the allies each spawn,you deserve it =p-I feel the Lieutenant charge is also too low-which should be changed.BUt a panzer wil lbe a panzy....er panzer and no matter how low the limit is people wil lfind a way around notusing a smg...ie:flamers and venoms.WE should have different dyas on the server with different settings.Like a no holds barred day-with all settings at normal,then a no panzer limit day,this may be worth a try-Just my 2 cents....

everybody complains about panzers but thats because they can't be a panzer cause all panzers are in use. i never see a soldier with a panzer complain about the fact he gets a kill ratio of 4

I'd just like to mention.. that the weapon of mass distruction in Quake2 was the BFG, not the rocket launcher. I wount say ALL servers but damn near most, BANNED the BFG.

The lemmings of the game run all in a bunch. If they don't understand tactics then let them die from a weapon of mass distruction like the panzer! Oops.. geee nads can do the same thing...hmmmm or appear too.. all of this depends on the ppl's health and armor at the time of course.

Maybe the kill range should be limited on both the nad and the panzer? Direct hit is a insta kill, anyone around it gets some splash damage no matter how close? :freak: And no, I don't believe that a non direct hit should kill 3 ppl (all 100% health) around it. :eek: Or, maybe if the panzerite kills himself in the blast, he should take most of the damage instead of his target (I know somtimes this appears to happen). I would love to dicker down the kill range and to test its range as it stands right now. Need somone to verify the kill range. But now, if your gonna dicker down the panzer, you have to adjust the medics. They run around like little bunnies now. Some ppl playing medics its like trying to kill off somone with god mod on. Food for thought.. :D
