Can Someone Un-Ban me please ?

I wasn't puposely tk'ing anyone ! I know well the repercusions (sp?). I'm not saying that Keekanoo did anything wrong either. I just want to play on this server again because I like the quick respawn, but I can also live without. I play on the other servers, they have different personalities, I like this server because there is more action in the less strategic areas of the beach map. I.e, lost newbies to slaughter. So if I remain banned you won't hear from me after today. I'll just simple remove the server from my favorites and all will be forgotten. You'll all remember me as a "smacker" and I'll remember some of us as I originally called them.

Marijuana, your ban will stand to infinity on the Beach unless the server owner unbans you. You may stop reading now and go on with whatever it is you do to amuse yourself.

I've never played bf42--don't even own the game, so that's someone else copying my name there. (It surprises me that they havn't been a complete ass as I've heard of several people copying my name and acting out on other servers to give me a bad rep :freak:

).

I certainly have tk'd in my time. Never once intentionally. Nor would anyone ever get banned at the Beach for tk'ing unintentionally. For those that care... here's the process.... If an admin sees someone doing it intentionally right in front of them, they warn/kick/ban according to the situation. If we hear about it 2nd-hand we talk it over in team-speak and one of us 'follows' the alleged. After clear demonstration of purposefull tk'ing, bleeding, being a general ass etc, the person is warned/kicked/banned according to the severity of the situation.

Anyone who knows me and reads this post will likely get quite a chuckle as I'm rarely if ever seen in the War-room, so Marijuanas grounds and laments are immediately questionalbe. Further, anyone who's ever seen me admining at the Beach knows that I'm fair and direct.

For those it may interest, Marijuana has a track-record of bleeding team-mates and tk'ing them and then spamming a script message "Sorry about that team-mate, you can smoke me if you want." He had been warned repeatedly and eventually kicked repeatedly (our old bot was broken and wouldn't allow banning--he was one of the ones who just kept coming back like a rash of poison-ivy). I believe my final straw(s) with Marijuana was his continuance on insulting me publicly as he deemed me to be a nazi cop hounding his ass to hell for the slightest gaming discrepency.

Bye bye Marijuana. I hear Happy-Penguin is hireing--even looking for admins :lol:

Seriously though good decision that 'you can smoke me' bind was beginning to get on my tits. For future reference it is not a good idea to broadcast your tks to the world Marijuana especial in such a smug, irritating and casual fashion.

On the general subjest of tks IMO there are far too many people calling for people to get kicked/banned based on the evidence of a solitary tk. I'm not talking to the everyday regs who are pretty tolerant but to everyone else; tks happen, to everyone by everyone so just let it slide. Brush yourself off and get on with the game. Stopping to bad mouth whoever killed you is both childish and unproductive as noobs don't read the text and regs will just get f*cked off by being insulted. If it was clearly deliberate ask for an admin and when one answers ask for him to keep an eye on the player in question, if there is a problem he will deal with it. Don't call a vote unless no admin answers.

If you are the tker though for f*cks sake just type v45 after you've made the mistake :mad:

, it takes like 2 seconds and it immediately lets the guy know it wasn't intentional and that you know you f*cked up bad. If it's really bad you might want to offer an explanation.

I am sorry to patronise you guys with this sh*t again but I get tired of having to tell people things which I consider to be basic good manners.

BTW is there a list of current admins around as I find it hard to keep up with who is or isn't a current admin.
